Poisonous Choices
~ ~ Recap~ ~
"For the last time, I know everything that will happen! That's why you have to finish this mission, okay?" I looked up at the sky once again, that same imaginary cloud had changed form. The bird had just escaped the cage, leaving the contraption a mangled mess. "I think you guys should leave, now." And they did.
They left me. They actually left me. I thought that there would be more of a fight, or they would take me with them and burry me by Zabuza and Haku. I thought they would care more.
I shouldn't have been so optimistic...

I sighed and shakily stood up, making my way towards a tree that I could lean on that wasn't the one the two fuckers who are killing me tied to it. Sitting down, I leaned my back against the tree beside theirs and faced them with my eyes closed and my arms crossed. They had been silent through all of it, just watching with what I'll assume are smug smirks under their gas masks. After about ten minutes or so of complete silence, just as I began to nod off, someone had to ruin my peace. Fucker!
"Oi, kid." One called out.
"What the hell do you want?" I snapped back, opening my eyes and looking at him.
"You do know that we have antidote, right?"
"And why would you be telling me this?" I asked, raising my brow and standing, using the tree to hold me up.
"Because," the other pipped up, "we want to be let go." I barked a humorless laugh at them, glaring as if they were a bug under my foot.
"Yeah, that's happening." I sarcastically called, rolling my eyes and slowly making my way over to them. "Although, I will happily take the antidote without your help."
I made my way over to them and started digging in the pouch of the one who I fought. I pulled out many small bottles of liquid that he had concealed in various pockets and pouches before I began to search the other ninja. He had the same bottles and they were hidden in he same spots.
"Wow, very original, guys." I commented, looking at the bottles and lining them up. "So, which one is it?" I asked.
"Like we'll tell you!" One shouted.
"It's either you tell me, or I torture you and you still tell me." I glared, pulling out a kunai. "Which would you prefer?"
"I'll take my chances with the torture." The other said. I shrugged and looked up at him.
"Suit yourself." I reached for his mask to try and take it off, but he threw his head from side to side. "Seriously? How old are you, three? Just hold still, you little baby."
I grabbed his neck and held it against the tree, successfully taking off his mask. Not much to see actually. I grabbed the first bottle and popped it open as I held his jaw in a way to open his mouth. I started to pour the liquid into his mouth, and he began to freak out.
"So, not this one huh?" I stopped pouring, letting him take in a quarter of the bottle before I moved onto the next one. It had the same outcome as the first. And so did the next. And the next.
"Okay, so, we're halfway done, boys!" I said, clapping my hands together with a bright smile. "Time to switch gi--" I began to cough violently, holding my hand over my mouth as I felt something drip from my mouth. "Oh, look! Blood, how nice. Anyway, let's get this show on the road." I must be one of those rare and beautiful sarcastic-till-death types.
