[Niall's P.O.V.]

"Calm down.."

"No, I won't! How did this happen? We fixed every flaw in our plan. This isn't possible."

"But I'm afraid it is. He got out, he escaped."

"No need to tell me twice, Alexa."

"I'm sorry."

"You know what? If we can't eliminate him by putting him in jail, I guess we have to take matters into our own hands." I say, standing up from the chair I was sitting on and walked out of the room.

"That is very risky." Alexa says, following me.

"What other suggestion do you have then, huh?" I question. Still not turning to look at her.

"Maybe call the other guys?"

"The others never work, they're all useless."

"They helped us getting him in jail."

"That was before he got out. I told you, we have to do it ourselves. And that's final." I end the conversation.

"But—"

"Alexa, we will talk about this later. Now is not the best time." I look into her eyes, fear written all over. Huh, what a coward.

She just nods quickly and I turn my back on her again. I take a deep breath before climbing up the stairs and entering my room, locking the door behind me.

I take off my shoes and crashed on the bed. Feeling exhausted as ever. Once my head touches the pillow, I fall asleep into deep slumber.

"Niall?" Someone knocks on the door, repeatedly.

"What do you want?" I ask quite rudely, not that I care. My back is seriously killing me, thanks to Millie.

"We have a little problem." She says, poking her head into the room.

"And what is it?"

"Boss is coming tomorrow." I jolt up. Oh no. This can't be good.

"When did he tell you?" I ask frantically, standing up from the bed and putting my shoes on.

"Just a while ago, while you were asleep. I don't understand why though." She says, fully opening the door and letting me go out.

"He probably knows about Lucas getting out." As I walk down the stairs fastly and grabing my jacket from the coat hanger near the door. Alexa, of course, following behind.

"Oh." She says dumbfounded.

"Yeah, oh. Don't come with me." I tell her sternly before shoving a pistol in my back pocket and exiting the house.

Oh stupid Lucas. Escaping, when he was just told that he can't. While the police, also being stupid, searching "everywhere", all they ever do is search one block and they're done. Telling the poeple that he's no where to be found.

I take a sharp turn, right just as I bump into someone

I grunt, not looking up to see the face of the person I just bumped into.

"Niall?" A familiar voice asks.

Shit.

"Oh, hi Millie."
