Chapter 38

[Millie's P.O.V.]

"Please, Niall.. I just want to say some things to her." I heard her say.

"Fine..." He grumbled, saying another few more words to her I didn't quite understand.

"Of course I won't." She whispered before stepping ahead of him.

I sighed deeply as we made eye contact. I don't even know why she's here, probably has to do something with Lucas but-- why would she care, right?

Does she even know who Lucas is?

"Millie.." She smiled sympathetically at me, taking a seat beside me on the couch.

"Hi, Alexa. No offense but what are you doing here?" I asked, trying my best to not sound rude at all. I mean, she did kinda ruin Niall and I's movie night.

"I just felt like coming here to comfort you because i know its hard for you to accept about what happened to uhm.... Lucas." She explained, whispering his name.

"You know Lucas?" I raised my eyebrows.

"I sure do." She answered, nodding her head.

"Oh." I whispered.

Alexa being nice to me, was still very uhm.. different to me.

Niall came and sat in front me, on the coffee table, in front of the couch we were sitting on.

"Uhm, I guess I forgot to mention this to you but....." He trailed off.

"Alexa is Lucas' sister."

What?

"You surely didn't mention that to me." I stated, shaking my head.

"We never mentioned it to other people after the uhm.." And so she trailed off as well.

"After what?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

This day is just getting worse.

"After we uhm, separated our ways." She answered after a while, staring at the wall blankly.

"I know I don't know a lot of things about, whatever happened in the past year but.. you have to tell me the whole story if you want me to understand this." I said, looking back and forth at the both of them.

Niall sighed, looking down to his feet for a moment before looking back up.

"I think Niall has told you about Greg and our 'job' with him?" Asked by Alexa.

"He did." I nodded.

"Okay then, well uhm, I guess I'll start from where it really all began." She took a deep breath before continuing.

"Niall was already involved with Greg's shît way before the two of you even became a thing last last year. " She started off.

I sighed deeply, running a hand through my hair.

"He was forced to join the 'gang' when he was younger, saying that Greg was told by Jeremy to force Niall."
