Chapter 19

[Niall's P.O.V.]

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Niall Horan and Alexa Goldman." A deep voice interrupts.

I froze and daringly turned around, wishing that I didn't.

There stood my boss. The man that pushed me to do everything I did in my life. The man that got me in trouble. The man that ruined my once, happy life.

Greg Horan

Yes, my very own brother.

"Missed me?" He asks, a sinister smile plastered onto his face.

"W-We thought that you'd s-still be coming t-t-tomorrow, sir." Alexa stuttered out.

"I lied." He bluntly replies. As he turns his attention to me.

"How are you, Niall? Anything interesting happened while you're here at Australia?" He asks, walking around me, as if he was studying me.

"What about you? Anything interesting happened to you?" I spat.

"Let's not get all fiesty, now do we? C'mon, it's just a simple question Niall."

"B-But sir..." Alexa tried to cut him off.

"Shut up! I'm not talking to you!" Greg shouts directly at her, shutting her up once again.

"Will you answer my question?" He asks, turning to me.

"You're not the boss of me." I mutter, clearly not thinking.

"What did you say? I didn't hear you quite well."

"You're not the boss of me!" I nearly shouted, regretting it easily.

"Now that's where you're wrong, Niall. I am your boss, and I'll always be." He says, standing right in front of me.

"No." I protest.

He sighs, "Always so stubborn. You never learned, Did you?"

"I never wanted anything you made me do! You know that!" I scream at his face, not taking out anymore.

"You did them anyway."

"You threatened to kill her! I can't risk her life like that."

"Too bad. She finally figured out of how much of a jerk you are, and finally left you. It took her long enough." He smirks. He sits down on the couch in the living room and pats a space for Alexa and I to sit on.

We took the seat and waited for what he was about to say.

"So, you guys probably know why I'm here don't you?" He starts as we nodded.

"Tell me how he got out."

"We didn't know until we saw it on the news. We had nothing to do with it." Alexa says in a fast manner.

"Did any of you cared to find him?"

"I tried earlier today." I spoke up, still not believing that I have kept up with him my whole life.

"He got away." I continued. Looking down at my shoes, somewhat feeling ashamed.

"Got away? He got away?!?" Greg exclaims, standing up.

"I paid them extra to make him weak, how did he 'get away'?"

"I was about to pull the trigger but–"

"Hold on, pull the trigger? You know you have to ask permission from me to kill whoever." He cuts me off.

"I know that. But I just didn't know where else to put him, so I rather get him dead."

Greg inhales deeply before storming out of the room. We got up as fast as we could and saw him getting ready to leave the house.

"Where are you going?" Alexa asks.

"I am going to check in at a hotel near by. Then we'll talk again tomorrow when I'm in a better mood." He answers and shuts the door behind him.

[Millie's P.O.V.]

"I miss you so much Greyson." I say through the phone.

"Getting all emotional now are we?" Greyson teases.

"Grey..." I whine, not in the mood for his jokes.

"I'm sorry, what's wrong?"

"N-Nothing, I just really miss you."

"Aww, I miss you too sis. But tell me what's really wrong." I sighed, he could see right through me.

"I just saw something that reminded me of us when we were little." I muttered.

"Really?" He asks. I nodded but realized that he couldn't see me.

"Yeah, they were kids too. They were following their mother, I think. The boy looked younger than the girl. The boy was holding onto his sister's hand and started crying once his 'mother' started saying something." I explained.

"I wasn't that much of a cry baby before, was I?" He asks, I can almost see him pouting.

"Yeah, you were." I chuckled.

"I really want to know how they're doing now." I admit.

"Where did you see them?" He asks.

"I was in the hotel, sitting on the couch. Then I saw them out there, walking on the sidewalk."

"Hmm, well let's not talk about that right now ok? What're you having for dinner?" I laughed.

Since he was a little boy, he would never stop talking about food. Whether it's just changing the subject or coming out of nowhere.
