It passed a month since I started living with them. Everything was great, but I was bored most of the time. I was bored most of the time. I didn't have any friends and didn't know were kids my age hanged out.. I would ask, but Shannon is always working and Stef is always out doing something. I, like always, was alone. Well that didn't stop me from creating my own fun. Shannon owned alot of land so I explored it. I found myself in the top of a small hill were this big tree was at. It was the kind of tree you would see in movies, but it was real and all I had to entertain myself.
"Not everything you see in movies will come true, but it's still worth searching for it."
I started climbing the tree and around half way a girl popped out and scared me. I fell about ten feet then grabbed a branch then easily got down off the tree. I looked up the tree and seen a girl climbing down. When she made it down she asked me if I was OK. I told her I've been through worst, and I have. She was so pretty and she looked my age. I told her my name and that I live with Shannon and Stef. She told me she already know. I guess things get around fast in this town.
"Life is a maze of choices and there's no way out without going through it. So expect the unexpected."
I asked for her name and she just walked away and said see you tomorrow. I would go after her, but it was getting late. I looked at the sunset at the bottom of the tree and felt the breeze. Before I've realized it I feel asleep. I woke up with a blanket around me and a tent in front of me. I asked who was in the tent and Stef came out. She told me Shannon got worried and Stef figured out that I found this spot. She used to come here often when she was my age so she let me sleep and kept watch.
"Maybe the past can teach you more then the future!"
We went back to the house were Shannon made us breakfast. It was delicious. I asked about the girl, but they seem like they didn't want me to know something. After breakfast Shannon took off to work and Stef went to sleep. I took a shower then went to the tree. I was there hoping to meet the girl from yesterday. I almost spent the whole day there waiting. The sun was dieing down so I guess I must be heading home, but i herd someone say," leaving so soon?"
Would super powers help your life, you could be able to read minds and tell the future. Maybe powers will just ruin the purpose of life. The mystery of what might happen next."
I turned around and seen here there staring at me. Her face so beautiful with the sunset behind her making her look even more amazing. I would ask what took so long, but she didn't really say when she would meet me here. She said she had school and a game so she couldn't get here earlier. I actually forgot about school. It's been so long. It seemed like a myth. I asked her if she won and she gave me a smirk and said she always wins. Her excitement was funny because she acted like she was unstoppable. Which I thought was very cute. I asked her for her name, but she looked at me and said she wants to get to know me first. I guess I had to talk about my life, something I always hated doing.
"What people do for others is crazier then what people do for themselves. Has anyone done something crazy just to impress themselves.
