*Daryl's POV*

Things had been going well at the prison. We had all pretty much settled in. Oh and this new girl. Everyone was ok with her being here, me, not so much. I guess she was alright but she's just been lazing around on her ass all week. She needs to get up and do some jobs.

I did keep giving her mucky looks but I don't know her...what else am I suppost to do. Sometimes she'd come sit with us before we went to bed. She wouldn't say anything though...guess she was shy.

I walked over to the gate where Rick was talking to Georgia. She hadn't really been outside a lot. She had her hair up in a messy bun. Her jeans hugged her legs in such a perfect way. Her eyes were a chocolatey brown that anyone could stare at all day.

She turned to face me and knocked me out of my thoughts...shit...what was I thinking. Snap out of it Dixon! But still she was beautiful.

"Georgia wants to help out on a run, if that's ok" Rick pushed her towards me a little. She looked shy, but wore a dull look on her face when she looked at me. Kinda how everyone used to look at me.

I shurgged my shoulders. "Settin off in about ten minutes. Better get ready girly" She scrunged her eyebrows together. She opened her mouth to say something but nothing happened. Instead she brushed past my shoulder and went inside.

*Georgia's POV*

Today was the day. I was finally well enough to go out and help this group. I seemed to fit in pretty well with everyone...well I say everyone but not that Daryl guy. He was confusing.

"Right then Georgia, looks like it's just you and Daryl on this run then" shit.

"Oh hell no, she'll get us both killed" Daryl swung his crossbow over his shoulder. "I'll go on my own, don't need some dumb bitch dragging me down"

"Daryl, you know fuck all about me, I mean you've known me for 2 bloody weeks...at least let me show you what I'm capeable of, show you who I am" I crossed my arms over my chest. Rick game me a little smirk.

"Fine, don't fuck up though. Take care of yourself" He mumbled. Daryl climbed on his bike amd started it up. "You comin'?" He looked back at me.

I walked up to him bike and threw my leg over his bike and sat as far back from him as I could. Rick just laughed at us. This wasn't going to be a good ride. "Well you gonna hold on or fall off?" Daryl grunted. I put my hands lightly on his waist and he flinched but relaxed.

"We'll be back in a couple of hours. Don't wait up" Rick opened the gate for up for us and Daryl gently rolled us down to the second gate where Carl was. "Stay safe guys" I gave him a quick nod.

Daryl suddenly took off without me realising. I quickly threw my arms tightly around his waist making him chuckle. It felt weird being this close to someone. His smell was captivating, I mean he smelt like mud and all that crap but something over powered it. It made me relax, I felt safe. I pulled back a little and loosened my grip on him.

Eventually we made it to our destination. We arrived at a worn out store which used to be Wal-Mart. I jumped of his bike as soon as we came to a stop. "So I'll go look for baby supplies and you look for everything else?" I was about to open the door when Daryl grabbed my arm and pulled me back. "No, we need to stay together. I'll go in first, make sure er'things safe."

He let go of my arm and raised his crossbow. I pulled my gun out, ready to fire at any walkers we find. He stepped inside and wiggled his finger, signalling for me to follow him. "Don't know were things are round 'ere. We might not be alone." His voice made me jump and I stumbled back knocking over a stand of old DVDs. "Watch it girlie" He grunted at me. There was no noise. No moans. "There isn't anybody here Daryl, come on, loosen up and relax" I put my gun back in its holiser. "Quiet down, you're gon' get us killed. We don't have time to relax, dumb bitch" Daryl went back to snooping the place about. "I'm not a dumb bitch Daryl. Clearly there aren't any walkers around. If there were they would have heard me knock over that thing and they'd be here by now." I said a little louder.

He threw his crossbow over his shoulder. I found the baby isle which had a lot more things on than others. I guess a lot of the babies died straight away. "No one thought they'd survive" I picked up some baby clothes and shoved them in my bag. "Huh?" Daryl looked over at me. "The babies" Daryl carried on shoving baby food into his bag. "Judith will live though. She's a fighter, just like everyone else in your group"

We gathered a few blankets, some food, medical supplies and other things before heading back to the door. "Shit" Daryl yelled. Walkers. Must be about 30 just outside the door. "What do we do?" Daryl's bike was just behind them. I looked around for another exit. "There! Come on Daryl" We ran toward the exit but I stopped. "Take my bag. I have an idea" I gave him my bag and he put it over his shoulder. "Go get your bike started and go" he looked confused. "You won't make it to your bike with them all spread out like that. I'll distract them while you get out of here." He shook his head. "Not without you"

I ran off towards the walkers. "Just do it, trust me" Daryl watched me as I tied some rope on the doors so no one could get in. I started banging on the doors getting the walkers attention. I looked back to see that Daryl was gone. Looks like I'm alone again. I turned to see all the walkers banging on the doors, clawing their way through the glass. Behind them was Daryl who was now on his bike. Now what. If he went round the back to pick me up they'd follow him.

He looked back at me and I mouthed to him 'go' he shook his head. ''Go now'' I spoke outloud. He looked around for a way to save me but looked back at me, defeated. He pulled his crossbow over his head and started firing at the walkers. 1,2,3,4,5 down. Wow this guy had skill. He ran out of bolts for his crossbow so he pulled out his knife. Another 10 down. He took down half the pack on his own.

He needed help. I pulled my gun out amd shot them through the glass. Pretty quickly I ran out of bullets so I broke the rest of the glass and joined him outside.

Shit. A piece of glass has found it's way into my waist. I looked down and all I could see was red. I began to feel dizzy when Daryl took the last walker out. "Georgia, c'mon" He grabbed my arms making me wince out in pain and fall to the ground. "What happened?" I looked down and lifted my shirt to reveal a large piece of glass sticking out. "Shit! Erm don't worry girlie" everything started getting blury. "Keep yer eyes open Georgia"

This was it. How I was going to die. 'I'm sorry' his lips spoke before I blacked out.
