a school date

Monday arrived and Adelia packed her stuff to go to school. she had no classes at school, it was online that day but she wanted to meet her best friend. and maybe meet him on the way. kill two birds with one stone was what adelia said. she could meet her best friend and him on the same day. lunch time came and adelia went to eat with her best friend, wanting to spend more time with her even when they were going to go home together that day.

his class ended at 12 . he went to the library where she was but he got lost. So Adelia had to pick him up and she felt a bit bad for the others in the library. the amount of times she got up would make people get annoyed easily. She fetched him and when she realised what he was wearing, she was at a loss for words.

he was wearing all black and in his formal attire. and the way his shirt was wrapping his body, showing how big his biceps were. Adelia wanted to cover him at that moment, not wanting anyone else to see her boyfriend. she brought him to where she sat and if it was fate, she was the only one who was sitting at the table, no one else sat with her. Feeling hungry from not eating lunch yet, Ethan thought that he could eat with her but she had already eaten. She said that she could accompany him and she had time until 2 before her class resumed.

After he finished his lunch, they walked around the school. having a date on their own, holding hands. tired of walking, they sat down on a bench, sitting opposite of each other. Adelia was wearing her charm bracelet that her mother had given to her. It was very pretty, but one of the charms had dropped. and adelia's hands were too small so she needed the charm to wear the bracelet or it would be very loose for her. On Friday, she asked her friend to help her wear the bracelet but it was too tight and Adelia felt so suffocated.

so he offered to help. he did struggle and she found him cute. he couldn't take the hook off, and she didn't want to trouble him. but he was determined and when he finally got the hook off, he never felt so happy before. She wanted to cherish that moment forever. He hooked the bracelet the correct way and felt proud of himself. missing each other too much, they would want to hug each other for a long time, but Adelia felt shy. doing it in a private space, sure. but in a public space, nope.

he stood up and sat beside her and hugged her tight, but not too tight. but that moment had to end early, the rules were strict these days. so they went inside to the library and when they sat down, their hands were tangled with each other. wanting to capture a memory, they both took a picture of holding each other's hands. but he had to leave since Adelia was going home with her friend and he wanted to rest. so they bid goodbye and hoped to see each other that weekend.

but as if the world didn't want them to meet, adelia had to stay at home. She was where a case happened, so she had to self-quarantine. for his sake. She informed her parents about it and they didn't let her out. so as if she was in a tall tower, she was trapped there for fourteen days.
