taking it to another level, she asked him out. to school of course, not a date. adelia didn't have any guts to do that and besides they both cannot eat yet since they were still fasting. being a smart person for useless reasons, adelia found out that they had online lessons only on one day, which was a tuesday. so she asked him out, which he actually refused. he didn't want to go to school but after begging him to go, he finally said yes. adelia felt excited that she could go on a 'date' at school.

but what adelia didn't check was that they were actually having the same module that day since the next day was a holiday. and that was the reason why i came to school with her because the next day was a holiday. she chose a place for them to sit and she then made eye contact with one of her club friends who sat opposite to her a few tables in front of her. she also felt sleepy, due to not having enough sleep or not being able to drink coffee.

even the fact that her crush was sitting beside her couldn't wake her up. what she realised at the end of the day of how fast she was moving on to him. she was sitting so close to him that he almost had no space when adelia had plenty of space on the right. no matter how much she went to the right, she kept moving closer to him. there were plenty of times when her heart fluttered as he typed over at her laptop or when she's disrupting him and he tried to prevent it. they even did the hand comparison thing since her hands were small compared to his hands that were huge. classic flirting, was what adelia thought when that happened. what she remembered the most when she was lying her head down on the table, not wanting to do her work anymore.

he patted her head. adelia panicked for that moment and on her way home, she fangirled to her best friend about the things that they both did. it was all okay, until she found out that he might feel uncomfortable as he felt that it was going really fast. she had to hear it from amar and the next two days, she was barely even functioning.

she had hurt him and she never wanted to do it at all. she felt as if she was useless and that she didn't deserve him at all.

one day, she wanted to tell him that she likes him. so she typed out 'i like you idiot' but the letters are all jumbled up. she asked him to guess and she never knew that he hated that. guessing reminded him of his ex. she kept pursuing and then it ended in a bad mood, he said that he was going to sleep early. feeling uneasy, adelia texted that the jumbled words meant 'i like you, friend' and he immediately knew that it was a lie.

so once again, adelia had made him hurt. she wrote a letter, a letter that he will never receive, about how she is sorry and would never want to make him feel that way again.

the weekends arrived and it was time for them to call each other. they had followed each other on discord, calling on weekend nights to finish up a game. adelia loves resident evil, especially the later ones but never had the guts to watch them, so he offered to watch it together.

he kept pushing the time to call her which made adelia mad. she had gotten all ready but he was too busy and when they called that night, the mood was sour. she was pissed and he told her that at least he came and called. the entire time they watched the gameplay, they only spoke a few words. but adelia wasn't even that pissed and she tried to start conversations but he didn't respond back. the gameplay finally ended, and she asked him to stay. adelia wanted to say it and she knew it was fast but if he wasn't interested, it was better getting to know about it now rather than getting hurt later.

so she said it. she said how she's interested in him and he said he knew. he didn't say he liked her back but he didn't reject her at all.
