A lone tear escaped no matter how hard you try to suppress it. Here you are standing in front of the man you love on the verge of a breakdown. The man you gave your heart to just told you he no longer loves you. Three years into your relationship you thought it will never come to this point.

"I'm sorry." Is all he could ever say. He feels guilty and you know it. You know him too well. Every fiber of his being. You love him with his flaws included.

"Is it because of her?" You choked on your words. You cannot even mention her name. The name of the person who managed to snatch your man away from you. The woman who now makes his heart flutter. The reason behind his smile. The source of his inspiration.

"Don't make this hard for the both of us Y/N." Hoseok sighed. He knows that it will be hard for his former lover to accept the news. He had already decided and there is no turning back. His time with her is over and they both need to move on.

"I know. I'm sorry if I wasn't enough. I should have tried harder to make you happier with me." Your tears are unstoppable now. You don't want to let him go. You need him now more than ever. Your body starts to tremble. Your breaths are heavier. You managed to look him in the eye and smiled.

"I wish you all the happiness my love. I will let you go because I love you so much." You accepted defeat. It is hard but there is no other way. Reality will always hurt. You have to face the world alone now. You managed to survive on your own before you met him. You can just go back to your old ways and stand up again. But now, you will not be alone. In a few months, you will have your child in your arms. The child he will never know about.

You could not help yourself but take a few strides and hugged him. Hoseok was caught off guard. You hugged him so tight because you know it will be your last. The last time to feel his warmth. To savor his intoxicating scent that always calms you down. To feel the beat of his heart. His heart that is no longer beating for you. You let go of him and stared lovingly in his face. His angelic face that used to smile at you. You wanted to etch it in your memory because you know it will be always him. Your heart will always belong to him.

You silently walked to your shared room and started packing despite his wishes. He wanted you to keep the apartment. He knows you don't have enough money to find a suitable place. You told him you were fine. It only took you a few minutes to gather your things. You are now at the door carrying your small suitcase.

"You don't have to go now Y/N! There will be a snowstorm. I will spend the night at her place. You can stay here." Hoseok tried to reason out with you.

"I don't belong here. Goodbye, Hoseok!" You smiled weakly at him and went out the door. Tears blurring your vision as you tried your best to navigate your way out of the building. With the little money that you have you cannot afford to take a cab. It will be too expensive. You need the money to find a cheap room for the night.

You are walking aimlessly trying to find shelter. The storm is starting but your heart has long been frozen. Your eyes are starting to close. Every step that you take is getting harder. You are numb. You finally reached the bus stop. You took a seat and let yourself go into oblivion.
