Just Maybe Pt.5

Another week have passed and Jungkook is still in the hospital caring for his sister. He only drops by at his office a few hours every day and delegate the rest of the work to his assistant to ensure that she is well taken cared of. Most of the time, he takes his laptop with him and work from her sister's private room. He basically lives in the hospital and he doesn't care at all. He chose the VIP suite which has all the amenities he will ever need. There is a very comfy sofa bed and a table that serves as his work station. He prefers to be in the hospital so that he can monitor Y/N's progress real time. He wants to be the first to know that she finally regained her conciousness. He's all that she had after all. His sister doesn't have any family left after her grandmother passed away.

Looking at Y/N, she just seemed like in a peaceful sleep. Too peaceful that it scared him.  However, he knew his sister. He knew it in his heart that she will never give up for the sake of the twins.

His cute nephew and niece that are also growing healthy day by day. He was so thankful knowing that the twins were out of danger 24 hours after they were born. He visits them a few times a day to check on them. If he needs to stretch out, his feet always takes him to the NICU. Who could resist those angels? He even bump to his Hoseok hyung a few times. His brother had been practically living in the hospital as well. Hoseok never tried to approach him. He knew his hyung will never cross the line that he blatantly drew for the two of them. He couldn't find it in his heart to act like nothing happened. At least for now, he told himself. He will never be able to cut ties completely with his brother. It will just be impossible.

His other hyungs are also dropping by at the hospital from time to time. It is inevitable since they have a close bond. Everyone looks out for each other. They may not be brothers by blood but they treat each other more than that. All of them have been very careful and have been sneaking in and out of the hospital to avoid the press. Y/N and Hoseok's relationship had been a secret and it will be chaos if the public knew that Hoseok already has children.

Jungkook is busy typing away in his computer when his phone rang. His mother have been calling to check on him. She was never close with Y/N but she doesn't hate her either. He was thankful that his mother was civil to her. His mother let him dote on Y/N like a real sister. They only exchanged a few pleasantries and ended the call.

He did hire a private nurse for Y/N and the twins but he is too paranoid to leave the hospital. He really thought he is going to lose all of them that night so he can't afford to go through that again.

He is very aware of Hoseok's presence outside the room but he never bothered to let him in. He could practically hear him pacing back and forth and the soft whispers between his hyungs in the hallway. Still, he will hold his ground. He can't just walk in here.  Not today! Not ever! He can only do that if his noona will allow him but that is also a big question mark.

He knew how she is suffering from the break up even if she didn't tell him about it. He can see it in her eyes everytime he visits her. They never talked about his hyung after she told him they were over. He never saw his noona cry like that before. Yet, when she was in the brink of death she still told him not to hurt Hoseok. The very person who abandoned her.

His noona knew him too well. His temper could never leave Hoseok untouched. If only his noona didn't told him that then he will definitely beat his hyung to a pulp. He doesn't care if he goes to jail.

''What's with that face Kookie?''

''No-- noo-na?''

''Yes?''

''You're awake?''

''Indeed, I am.''

''Noonaaaa, you don't know how much you scared me'' Jungkook threw himself to his sister and cried.
