On July 1, at exactly 10:00 A.M., five girls arrived at The School of Fear. The girls hadn't been scared until that moment, when they saw how huge and scary looking The School of Fear was.
From the outside, The School of Fear was gray and creepy. It was surrounded by bare trees and, although it was 10:00 in the morning, it was quite dark. Sasha whimpered in fear.
At 10:02, the door of the school was opened by a striking young lady. This lady was Winifred Edith Perry. "Welcome!" said Ms. Perry. "Come on in!"
The girls' parents said goodbye to them, and the girls walked inside The School of Fear, looking around. Inside, it was warm. The walls were painted a pretty yellow and the floor was wooden and clean. "There are no bugs here, right?" Hannah asked.
"No, do not worry," Ms. Perry said to Hannah. She turned to the rest of the girls. "Welcome to The School of Fear!" she said. "Today, I am going to show you the school. Tomorrow, we will start your training. I will be your instructor. First, I want each of you to tell me your fear. Tanya?"
"Ghosts."
"Caitlin?"
"Fire."
"Sasha?"
"The dark."
"Hannah?"
"Bugs and insects."
"Isabelle?"
"Injections."
"All right," said Ms. Perry. "Now follow me. We shall start our tour from the bottom basement."
The students followed Ms. Perry down two flights of stairs. There, they saw an enormous swimming pool, larger than Olympic size. Around the pool were lots of taps. "This," said Ms. Perry, "is the bathing pool. You take a bath here every day. You may use the taps to make adjustments to the water and the things in the water. Now follow me to the next floor."
On the next floor was a room full of items made to help eradicate fears. "This is the Room of Fears," Ms. Perry said. "Here, you will be training to get rid of your fears."
On the next floor, the first floor and the floor the students had entered first, were many rooms. There was a dining room, where the students would eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a gym, where students could work out if they wanted to, a classroom, where the students would get lessons from Ms. Perry, and a library full of books.
Last, the students went to the second floor, the highest floor, where the bedrooms were located. There were five bedrooms. Each of the girls was assigned a bedroom. The bedrooms were all slightly different. They all had the same wooden flooring, but different colored walls. Tanya's were blue, Caitlin's were purple, Sasha's were green, Hannah's were yellow, and Isabelle's were red. "Come for lunch at 12:30," said Ms. Perry. "Till then, you may unpack."
The girls unpacked their belongings and went down for lunch. The rest of the day past quickly and the next morning the girls woke up early, ready to start their training.
