At 7:00 in the morning, Tanya, Caitlin, Sasha, Hannah, and Isabelle followed Ms. Perry to the classroom. Ms. Perry smiled at them. "Today you will not be training in the Room of Fear, but in this classroom. To eradicate a fear, one must take small steps. The first step is to learn about your fear. On each of your desks is a book about your fears. Please read the book and try not to get scared."
The students took a look at the books on their desks. They each had informational texts about their fears. Slowly they opened the books and started to read. After reading the books, the students were in a state of horror. "Go up to your rooms," Ms. Perry told them, "You have completed the first step. We will meet again tomorrow."
