Kind of bad eating habits?

George was rudely awaken by the blaring alarm coming from his phone. He rolled over noticing how uncomfortable he was in his clothes instead of pajamas. He snoozed his alarm with the intention of sleeping in, until he remembered he had a job now.

He remembered the day before, one of the best he has had in a while. He remembered going from his normal unmotivated self to a person who would finally smile around others. He wasn't;t sure what exactly made this change. Maybe it was the new job, or maybe getting out of his apartment.

Although George was clueless, we all know what was truly putting him into a better mood, and no, it was not his new 9-6 job giving him joy.

He grabbed a new pair of jeans to wear and another black work shirt with embroidered lettering spelling "Century 42 Cinema". He headed down the stairs, fed Cat, and headed out of the door. He decided he wasn't hungry, and if he did want food, he would get it at work.

Now, the brunette boy was heading over to work, weirdly without a frown on his face, somewhat excited for the day.

*Dream 3rd Person POV*

Dream woke up on his own like usual. He was always a morning person, normally waking up at 7:30 am, but today he woke up 30 minutes earlier. This might be because of how well he slept last night, but really, it was because he was eager to see George today.

Dream didn't know his exact feelings towards them, but he knew it was more than just platonic. This wasn't a "oh my goodness I'm a straight guy falling for another dude" type of realization, since he has known he was gay for the majority of his life. It was more of a "oh wow, this guy i just met has already made their way to my heart" kind of way.

He had a quick breakfast, a granola bar and a glass of milk, and headed out the door. At this point it was only 8 am and the drive to work is around 30 minutes long, so he stopped my the nearest gas station.

One of the many small conversations Dream and George shared the day prior was favorite snacks. Dream remembered George saying he loved chocolate covered raisins. It wasn't something Dream was a huge fan of, but he grabbed a couple packs off of the shelf, payed the cashier, and made his way to his car and off to work he went.

He made it to work, preparing to open the cinema, when he heard the back doors open. He immediately grew excited, hoping it was the boy he was waiting for. And to his luck, it was.

Dream made his way over to George before they could get to where Dream was standing. Dream tried to obstruct his view by standing tall in front of the shorter. "I have a surprise for you, so you have to close your eyes," and George did exactly that, while also letting out a breathy chuckle saying "Hello to you too". Dream didn't fully trust George, afraid he would ruin the surprise, so he made his way around him and covered their eyes with his hands.

"Dream what are you doing, my eyes are closed," "I cant trust you," they both shared small laughter as Dream led George over to the table with the raisins and a small card saying 'Welcome newbie'. Dream removed his hands from George's eyes, "Open your eyes," "I dont know, I'm kind of tired. might fall asleep". Dream nudged him in the back as he opened his eyes to see his surprise.

"Ew I hate raisins, especially with chocolate?" Dream immediately became embarrassed. Did he really not listen to George yesterday? He could have sworn this is what George said he liked. "I'm sorry, I guess I must have-" "I'm joking Dream, this is really sweet, thank you," Dream was immediately relived.

He went in for a hug, and George hesitated before accepting his embrace. In this very moment, Dream realized what he was subconsciously hiding from himself. He liked George. More than friends, more than flirty friends. He wanted to hold George like this whenever he wanted and needed him.

The hug was going on for a little too long for an outsiders point of view, but to them, it felt right. George was the first to back away, Dream following along. "Can you send me a text, just so I can have your number and make a contact" Dream asked, nervous for a negative response. George gave a small smirk and typed "Hey💙" without speaking anything out loud. Dream felt his phone buzz in his front pocket and opened up the text. "Thanks, I might abuse this power of texting you now," Dream said half joking while typing in the contact name 'Newbie💙"
