It was all surreal to him, and maybe even a little intimidating. He grew anxious, and escaped the blondes tight, comforting grasp. He made his way to the bathroom, hardly able to breath, with too much on his mind. Until he heard a knock on the door.
"George?"
-
"I am so sorry Dream, I don't think it was right for me to kiss you. Maybe I should go home? The others should be up in any minute'" George started, practically word vomiting.
Dream was quick to respond, "george first of all, I kissed you back. I wanted it just as much, and secondly, you can't go home right now. You haven't slept, and from the looks of it, your'e having a panic attack"
George could tell Dream was being sincere, so sitting on the floor sobbing, he allowed Dream to sit next to him.
The two sat in silence, a comfortable one. This time, they felt safe. Dream was over the lack of contact between the two, so once George had caught his breath and seemed approachable, he wrapped his arms around their torso.
George was hesitant at first but soon wrapped his arms around the blonde, crying into his shoulder.
The two made their way out of the bathroom after about an hour had passed. They both realized they wouldn't be able to sleep, so they went to the kitchen.
It was 8 in the morning, but all of the boys in the living room were awake after falling asleep earlier than usual last night.
"Ooo, you two have a fun night?" Sapnap asked, wiggling hid brows. "What do you mean?" Dream asked, though he knew he did have a great night. Other than the whole bathroom incident.
"I don't know, I mean you don't normally see two boys come out of a room after a long night with messy hair and hickeys and think they didn't have a good night," Sapnap said giving his best friend a wink.
All the boys went into a pit of giggles.
Quackity had to leave because he had a college class for the day, so it was just Karl, Sapnap, Dream , and George.
"So, what do you guys wanna do today?" Karl started conversation. "I'm down for anything, how about you, George?" "Yea, I'm okay with anything," George said, taking a sip from his water bottle.
"How about a double date?" Sapnap suggested. "Dude, me and George are not a couple, we literally met three days ago," "Those marks say otherwise," Karl spoke up, referring to the many hickeys on George's neck.
Dream and George both knew they would be moving too fast to be calling themselves a couple. Especially after only "date" and one amazing night together. But that didnt mean it felt wrong to say they were just "friends" because whether secretly or not, they both wanted to be together.
"We could go bowling," George suggested and they all agreed that that was the plan.
-
"Dream, I dont have anything to wear," George spoke "You could borrow something from my closet, or we could stop by your house."
George wouldn't mind wearing some of Dreams clothes, but then again, he is half a foot shorter, and he has a cat he needs to feed.
-
George came out of his house all dressed and ready to go. His cat was fed, his plants were watered, and he looked hot. At least, that's how Dream would describe it.
"I love your outfit," Dram said, referring to the crew neck over a white collard shirt paired with light wash "Mom jeans" and air forces. "Thank you, you look fine i guess'" George said in a playful tone.
Dream clutched his chest giving an exaggerated breath, "You don't mean that do you? I am driving, and I know the way back to your house, newbie." Dream said, to hopefully get a reaction out of the brunette.
"Okay okay, you are very handsome, I must admit, but you could use a few fashion tips."
The rest of the ride was filled with sarcastic, playful banter between the two, until they arrived at the bowling alley. They met up with Karl, Sapnap, and Quackity, who had finished his college class by now.
They get to their alley and begin their games. A lady walks up to the group and asks, "Would you boys want anything to drink or eat?" This was directly asked towards George, and he looked around at the others to see what they wanted. Everyone wanted a coke or tea, and George opted out for a water. "Be right back with those," She said giving George a wink. He felt uncomfortable, but didn't want to make a huge deal out of the situation, so he made his way back to the others.
She came back with their drinks and asked to pull George aside. Dream took notice of this, but decided to leave it alone. Well, not entirely alone, seeing as he was low key spying on the two.
He didn't know exactly why, but he was jealous, and he was willing to admit that.
"I just wanted to say, I thought you were really cute, and I wanted to see if I could get your number," Dream overheard the women say.
George had an obviously uncomfortable look on his face, and didn't know what to say, but before he could say anything he felt a familiar arm wrap around his neck.
"Hey babe, who's this?" "Oh..oh my goodness, I am so sorry. I didn't know you guys were a thing, well, it was nice meeting you," She said, walking away.
George looked up at the blonde and slapped him lightly in the stomach, "Didn't I tell you I hate nicknames the first day we met?" "Sorry, you just looked uncomfortable and I wanted to "save you". I didn't mean it, newbie."
And although George did hate these types of names, he was kind of hurt when Dream said he didn't mean it. But little did he know, it hurt Dream just as much to say it.
