You raised your hand, so that his fist would punch the back of it. There was an impact--but no strength behind it. You kinda felt a breeze. You stared at its tree-eyes.
"Really?" Using your cursed energy, you sent Hanami flying back into the house. The others behind you were going through a mini-battle behind you. With a couple of branches coming for them. Kamo was knocked out like the bitch he was, and Inumaki overused his Cursed Speech. It was only Megumi left standing. From the dust emerged Hanami, unscathed. You just smirked lightly.
"You won't cut me down with that dull blade," he said before Maki appeared, swiping a sword at his head. The blade snapped in two. Megumi ran past you with a sword in hand and went in for a swipe as well. Well I didn't see that before. He hid it in his shadows. Megumi chopped off the top portion of Hanami's eye tree.
"I think they have that covered," you said with a huff. "Now... where would I prove useful?" You could get rid of the veil. I could, but where's the fun in that, then? You leaned your body to the side, a long blade skimming past your eyes. It hit the veil, imbedding itself in it. You looked to your left.
"Well, well... thought you'd never show up." You turned your body. Hana was glaring up at you.
"Ready for the second round?" She asked.
"You are stupid." You reached behind you to pull out your staff, extending it.
"This won't be like the first time." The sword went back to her hand. You just deadpanned at her. Gravity returned, and you went falling back to the earth. Hana followed you. With a smirk, you negated the gravity again, and met Hana head on, who didn't expect it. You jabbed the end of the staff into her midsection, and let the electricity rip. With a cry, she went flying to the ground. You grabbed her sword before it fell away from you. From her limp body, the large, black snake snapped up towards you. You spun the sword in your hand before slashing it. A burst of cursed energy pushed it back, sending it launching into the ground. You saw the cloud of dirt from up high. Wow. I put in no effort. You flew higher to the top of the veil, pressing your hand against it. With just a small spike, the veil dispersed.
"Oh--you beat me to it." Satoru was right above you, his blindfold lowered.
"And where were you, exactly?" You asked, coming level to him.
"Oh, you know, sightseeing."
"Give me the rundown."
~
"You wanna handle it, or should I?" You asked, looking at the dead patch of forest."How long has it been since I've seen you go wild?" He asked.
"You've never seen me go wild."
"Exactly." He grinned at you. You rolled your eyes.
"Yeah, yeah."
He disappeared from your side. With a sigh, you slowly slipped your glove off your hand. Oh? You're using that? I need to assert myself with these people one way or another. With your hand now free, the mark on your palm lit up. You held your hand out towards where Hanami, Todo, and Itadori were."Nova's Raze." The eye in the middle of your palm opened. A stream of energy fired from your palm. When it hit the ground below, an explosion went off like a H bomb. The explosion moved forward, towards where Hanami was standing, before it expanded. The earth, trees, and everything began to get sucked into the explosion. You snapped your fingers, and Todo and Itadori were behind you.
"Y/n-senpai!" Itadori exclaimed. "What's going on?"
"Shh," you said softly. "Just watch." The radius of the explosion expanded, taking the forest into it.
"Woah..." Itadori gasped. The eye on your palm closed, and that's when the shockwave blasted through. But you three were secured in the air.
"Wh-what the heck..." Itadori gaped at the ginormous, comet-sized hole in the earth's surface. "That's like... two-thirds of the forest..."
There was nothing left in the crater. All there was, was darkness--a void. You put your glove back on and huffed. Well that didn't take as much cursed energy as I thought. Don't get me excited, Y/n. Don't be weird.
"Well, that's settled," you said. "Satoru should've taken care of the other." You rubbed your head.
"Man... can't have shit in this house."
~
A day later, Satoru had dragged you to a meeting with Ichiji, Yaga, Gakuganji, Utahime, and... whoever else the woman's name was, because you didn't know. Ichiji was going over the list of recent casualities regarding Jujutsu Tech. To be honest, you weren't interested in listening to it--but Satoru thought it would be good for you. Since you were a hermit for a few decades with minimal human interraction."Since you're all bitching so much," you finally spoke. "I can have Kuragari look into it."
"Absolutely not," Gakuganji forbade instantly. "We don't need another cursed spirit wandering around and causing who-knows how much trouble."
"Considering I turned two-thirds of your training ground forest into a black hole using minimal cursed energy, I don't think Kuragari should be your main concern," you replied. "Besides, we have a Binding Vow. If she does anything outside of what's agreed, she's in trouble."
"Having Kuragari on our side could prove to be an advantage," Mei Mei said. "If we send her to fortify Tengen's sealing, that could save us a lot of lives and effort."
"Are you okay with that, Y/n?" Satoru asked.
"I would have to do some investigating myself," you replied. "As you said, having a wandering cursed spirit could be troublesome." You glanced at Gakiganji who stayed quiet.
"Then it's settled, then."
~
"I'm out of the exchange event?" You glanced at Satoru."Well, yeah," he replied. "The teams are uneven." You sighed.
"Fine," you replied. "These are special circumstances anyways." You pushed off the wall and walked past Satoru.
"You're going now?" He asked.
"The faster we move, the more prepared we can be for them."
"Y/n."
You stopped to turn to look at him. He pulled one side of his blindfold up, so that you could see his eye."Be careful."
"..." You stayed quiet for a moment. "I know that. I'm always careful." With that, you walked off. ... well, wasn't that interesting. Shut up.
Ja ne!
