Tommy, Tubbo, and Wilbur headed into Falconclaw on high alert. Tommy didn't know what to expect from the day. On the one hand, they could wander around all day without any sign of the shadow knights. Or they could run smack into them and get killed.

"Doesn't look like anyone is here, Tommy," Wilbur commented. Tommy relaxed his stance and took a few moments to breathe.

"Do you remember which direction they left here?" Tubbo asked. Tommy frowned.

"Tubbo, we left first, remember, they watched us leave," Tommy explained. Tubbo sighed.

"Well, let's think about this. You think that the Shadow Knights have a base somewhere near here. If that's true, where are they more likely to set up?" Wilbur thought aloud, "The only two villages near here are Nahakra and O'khasis. If I were them, I'd set up in between them."

"Smart, well, that means they'd be down south," Tommy reasoned and pointed, "that way." They all seemed to agree, so they wandered around the forest for a while. Hours passed without any sign of them.

"Tommy, we've been searching for a long time. I'm tired of this," Wilbur complained. Wilbur's incessant comments were only fueling Tommy's anger with the situation.

"We can try some other time again if you want, Tommy," Tubbo offered. He sighed. What else could he do?

"Fine," Tommy muttered, turning towards home and walking away. His back was aching from the heaviness of the axe anyways.

They were walking around in the forest quietly. The group was tired and done with searching. That's when Tommy heard it. Sobbing. More specifically, a woman's crying. He stopped.

"Tommy, what's wrong?" Tubbo asked before he noticed the noise.

"We need to get home. We have no time to help some damsel in distress," Wilbur commented, clearly anxious about getting home before curfew. Tommy concentrated on the voice. Where had he heard that voice before?

"Tubbo, where are we?" Tommy whispered.

"We are about to be back in Falconclaw; why?" Tubbo whispered back. Both Tubbo and Wilbur seemed to be confused.

"Tubbo, that voice. It's the lady's voice. The voice from the disc," Tommy realized. Tubbo took a moment to listen more carefully, and his face shifted to a shocked expression.

     "You're right!" Tubbo agreed.

"You think they are playing your disc in Falconclaw right now?" Wilbur asked. Tommy and Tubbo both nodded simultaneously.

"Alright, game plan. I'm the only one here that's capable of fighting well. So I'll fight whoever I need. Tubbo, you load your bow and shoot if you think you have a clear shot. Tommy, you focus on getting the discs; fight if you need to defend yourself," Wilbur explained.

They all agreed. Tommy didn't have any plans on fighting in a way that would reveal his actual skill. His father would have his head if he knew that Tommy spent his time with ex-thief practicing combat in his spare time. And he wouldn't put it past Wilbur to rat him out.

They approached Falconclaw to see two Shadow Knights, Dream and the girl from the other day. Dream stood there and watched them as if he was expecting this encounter. Tommy could feel Wilbur's anxiety just by walking next to him, but there was no backing out now.

"Tommy! I've been waiting for you," Dream shouted, smiling happily.

"Dream," Tommy rolled out. Dream's attention shifted from Tommy to Wilbur. Dream walked up to Wilbur, leaving no personal space for the two of them.

"You're quite the distraction," Dream muttered before backing up. Wilbur's face went a little red. Tommy was very confused by the encounter, but immediately the girl with Dream attacked Wilbur.

Wilbur was not prepared but regained his composure quite quickly.

"Tommy, you hear her sobbing?" Dream asked about the disc. Tommy would entertain this conversation as he noticed Tubbo finding a place to shoot from while being hidden.

"Do you know who she is?" Tommy asked, half-curious. Dream laughed.

"Aren't you funny? Do you think I'd tell you? You are stupid if you don't know who she is," Dream patronized. Tommy scoffed.

"Especially you, the son of a lord," Dream said, smirking. Tommy's heart rate started to skyrocket. How could Dream have possibly found out about that? Dream started chuckling to himself.

"What? Didn't think I'd find out? You shouldn't have brought your brother with you. He's easily recognizable as he spends his time being an understudy to his father. They walk the village together," Dream explained.

"I want my discs back," Tommy ordered.

"Why, clearly, they don't mean anything to you? You don't even know who the woman is," Dream asked. Tommy considered Dream's words.

"They're mine," he growled. Dream smirked.

"Alyssa, finish that would you," Dream ordered the girl. She swiftly brought Wilbur to a stop with her knife to his throat.

"Tommy, go. The discs aren't worth our lives," Wilbur tried to command Tommy. Tommy never listened to Wilbur, and he sure as hell is not going to start now.

Dream walked over to the jukebox and removed the disc, slipping it into his parcel.

"If you want these discs so bad, Tommy, fight me for them," Dream said. Tommy watched Wilbur's face turn cold. He readjusted his position to a fighting stance, readying his axe as Dream slid a giant red sword from his baldric.

Dream charged Tommy, but he was prepared, blocking the attack effectively. The sheer amount of force the Dream applied to his attack brought Tommy to a realization. He needed to fight for his life, and that his combat skills were going to become apparent.

The two fought for what seemed like forever. Tommy swung his axe with as much power as he could bring to it. He was proud of himself. He was using many techniques he learned from Amber with ease.

Suddenly, without warning, as he quickly blocked another attack from Dream, a sharp, piercing pain hit his right leg.

"Shit!" he heard Tubbo yell out before the world turned black.
