Tommy woke up with immense pain in his leg. When he got up, he noticed that Wilbur had already left the room. He tried to stay relaxed but couldn't help but panic for a few small moments.

He left the room to see Amber, Tubbo, and Wilbur talking at some old wooden table. Tommy rubbed his eyes groggily before sitting down at the table.

"Tommy, I've got a new plan," Wilbur stated. Tommy nodded along, still trying to wake up.

"When he says I, he means we," Amber corrected.

     "What is it?" Tommy asked.

"Remember how yesterday we went south looking for the shadow knights because we thought that setting up base in between the two villages would be strategic for them?" Wilbur asked.

"Yeah?" Tommy said, questioning where Wilbur was taking this conversation.

"What if they didn't care about O'khasis at all?" Wilbur asked. Tommy thought about it and then remembered his exchange with Dream the previous day.

"Dream said something," Tommy struggled to articulate, "Something about having seen you and father walking around the village together."

"So they're watching Nahakra? Why would they be doing that?" Amber asked.

"I dunno, but this gives us a better location for your discs, Tommy," Wilbur said excitedly. Tommy was still quite confused.

"Tommy, think about it, we went south towards O'khasis from Falconclaw. Then we turned around, now heading north, and ran into the shadow knights at Falconclaw. They didn't come from the south, or we would have noticed," Tubbo explained, "They must have come from the north, more northeast is my guess. And this is supported by the fact they're spying on Nahakra. They'd be closer than we think."

Tommy wrapped his mind around this information. It made sense to him. But why would the shadow knights be interested in Nahakra compared to O'khasis?

"Tommy?" Amber asked, trying to get his attention.

"Yeah, that sounds smart," Tommy muttered.

"Alright, let's say we get the discs. What then? They can easily take the discs since they know where we live," Wilbur asked.

"You need to get them to the safest place you can, which would be an ender chest," Tubbo commented.

"Where do we get one of them?" Tommy asked. Wilbur laughed.

"They don't just let people have those. You have to use them at a bank," Wilbur explained, "Though I don't know where one near us would be. I'm assuming O'khasis, but we can't get in there."

"There is one place in Ru'aun that has them," Amber said.

     "Where?" Tommy asked.

"The Phoenix Alliance Island," she answered. Tommy watched Wilbur's eyes light up.

"Been wanting to go there?" Tommy asked.

"No, but if we are going to travel that far anyway, instead of using the docks at New Meteli, could we go a long way to Brightport? I have some business near Scaleswind I need to take care of," Wilbur requested.

"I was going to recommend you go a long way. Once Dream sees that you stole the discs back, he'll figure where you are going and probably go to New Meteli to stop you," Amber said.

"Alright, that's settled then. I'll tell Phil that I'm going out to work on my project and that I'm bringing Tommy and Tubbo with me. Phil will want me to meet with the Lord of Scaleswind, though," Wilbur said.

"And I'll meet you all here?" Amber asked.

"Amber, you are coming with us?" Tommy asked.

"You don't want the backup? It sounds like both you and Wilbur could use a hand in combat," Amber asked.

"I'd love it if you came. I was just surprised you wanted to," Tommy commented.

"Of course, Tommy, they're not just your discs. I found them and want to know what they mean," Amber admitted.

"Let's all meet outside the Irene statue tomorrow morning," Wilbur said. Tommy agreed. The Irene statue. Irene.

     "Holy fuck," Tommy muttered unknowingly.

     "What?" Tubbo asked.

"Oh, sorry, nothing. I was thinking to myself," Tommy said. Why was Irene in his dreams? "Irene, I loved you" Is he referring to Lady Irene? Could it be?

Tommy, Tubbo, and Wilbur returned home that afternoon to a displeased Phil.

"What have you three been up to?" Phil asked while they all sat at the table having sandwiches for lunch.

"As I said, I was helping out this lady with her chores. I'm building rapport with the villagers, just like you said to," Wilbur explained.

"And why is Tommy hurt?" Phil asked matter of factly. Tommy suddenly became panicked.

"Don't think I didn't notice Tommy's limp walking in the house today, with the bloody rag tied around his leg," Phil stated.

"There was a piece of glass I accidentally ran into," Tommy lied. Phil continued to look very displeased with the three of them.

"Father, I'd like to go out to Scaleswind to work on my project. While I'm there, I figured I would establish a professional relationship with the Lord of Scaleswind," Wilbur said. The mood lifted slightly.

"That's all well and good. Lord Von Rosenburg is only slightly older than you, so you both should get on well enough," Phil commented.

"I also wanted to take Tommy and Tubbo with me," Wilbur said. Phil looked very confused.

     "Why?" Phil asked.

"So that they can get out of the house, have some adventure," Wilbur continued.

"Tommy, Tubbo, will the both of you behave?" Phil asked, narrowing his eyes more towards Tommy than Tubbo.

"Yes, sir, of course," Tubbo immediately answered. Tommy laughed.

"Yes, I know I have a reputation to uphold at Scaleswind," Tommy explained. Phil nodded in agreement.

"When are you leaving?" Phil asked.

"Tomorrow morning," Wilbur answered. They all agreed on the plans and prepared themselves for what was to come tomorrow.
