"Hey Clarke? Was Monty okay?" Madi's small tired voice rings through the air as she and her mother walk the streets of Polis to their tent. Clarke readjusts Augustus in her arms, the little boy already fast asleep as his face is burring in the crook of her neck, before answering.

"He'll be okay. He must have ran into a snag with the the system, but, he'll figure it out." Madi opens the tent flap, her hand covering her mouth as she yawns. "Come one, Little one."

The preteen grumbles in trig, something along the lines of 'Im, not little anymore' but Clarke simply rolls her eyes and sits down on the furs beneath them. She lays Augy sown first before patting the spot in front of him, one Madi takes with no hesitation. She yawns again before curling up into herself, her hand splayed out next o her brother's. He wiggle in his sleep to be closer to his sister, though Madi hardly notices as she's nearly asleep herself. With a soft smile Clarke lies behind them, her arm outstretched to hold them both. There was a lot going on right now, and a lot to consider, but at the moment she simply closes her eyes and rests.

She's not sure how much time passes, her mind taken over by the peaceful lure of sleep, until a voice from outside calls her name. Clarke has never been a heavy sleeper, but since living on the  ground its much easer to be alert at all times, her sleep lighter than it ever had been before. Che looks at the little ones still asleep as she sits up and says she's awake. The face that enters is one she hadn't expected to see. Niylah.

"Shh, the kids are sleeping." Niylah does her best to enter quietly and sit across form Clarke, a small smile on her face.

"Am I crazy or are you avoiding me?" Clarke looks to the side, a chuckle escaping.

"No .Its just everything's so different. I'm still taking it all in. Adjusting." Niylah follows her gaze over the sleeping little ones.

"Thank you for saving us. Again."

"That wasn't me. That was Bellamy." Augy wiggles in his sleep his hand reaching out in a small fist. Clarke smiles gently and reaches out her own to give him, holding his little hand in hers while he relaxes back into peaceful sleep. "I was ready to go to war to protect them. Luckily he had a better plan."

Niylah smiles as she say," It looks like we both found new families. You lost your family and friends over the years, and now you have them." At this Clarke lets her eyes move from her son to her old friend. "My father lost in war and now I have wonkru."

Clarke looks down, her arms crossing over her chest a she asks her next question. If Niylah was truly happy here. After everything she has seen, it would be hard to imagine being happy as apart of Wonku, living under Octavia's rule. But Niylah says that she is. Even though it was hard at first, they survived in the end. All because of Octavia. If it hadn't been for her they all would be dead or killed long before Bellamy helped open the bunker.

"You mean Blodriegna?" Clarke subtly snaps.

Her friends was no longer herself, her rule and hunger for power changed her completely. Even with hope for a turn around, it wouldn't be easy. Nylah doesn't respond how Clarke expects. Instead she simply asks how you explain the sun to someone who's never seen it. Her underlying metaphor catching on. It was hard to explain how and why thing were to someone who was never there to experienced the hardships and burdens when that person was never there to begin with.

"And the flame? Does Gia still have it or was it destroyed?"

"Does it really matter? The time of the commanders is over." But even as Nylah says this her eyes travel to the sleeping children beside them. "They say you made them in Natblida's. Both of them."
