Eh? Why am I here again?

I blinked my eyes and saw a boy, bowing his head down, confessing his feelings to me at the back of the school.

"Sorry," I said and walked out, went back to the classroom, and sat quietly.

Ever since the school project showcase has ended, my schoolmates treat me well. They started acting friendly and talked to me, even the lower grades.

But there's this one person who kept ignoring me.

I looked at him as he laughs with our classmates. He saw me looking at him and he turned around, embarrassed.

Coward, I thought.

Maybe I pushed him a little hard since that night.

As my mind recall the events that happened that night, my cheeks became rosy. I touched my lips and remember what he did.

"Y/n-chan, want to go shopping with me later?" Machiko asked me.

Isn't she the rat who can't mind her own business? The one who reported us.

Acting friendly all of a sudden? Weird.

"Sorry, I don't speak rat," I said, not looking at her and remained still.

She repeated the sentence she said, sarcastically. I felt her faint rage in her way of speaking.

Me, having no interest in talking with her, pretending not to hear her like she is air.

"Y/n! Someone's looking for you," the class president called me out.

I immediately stood up and walked past Machiko who was trying to have a conversation with me.

"Chifuyu?" asked my classmate.

"Oh?" I answered.

"Are you and Y/n dating?" he asked me and my heart started to beat out loud.

"W-What's with the ran-random question?" I stutteringly asked. They looked at me, grinning.

How I would love to answer yes but I can't, I will wait.

They started to put their arms on my shoulder and said, "Hmm, a friend of mine is thinking of asking her out to go with me this Christmas."

Christmas? Sorry, she already said yes to me on October twenty-three! Mwahahaha! I thought.

"She'd reject you on the spot," I confidently said.

"Let's see about that!" he said and started to find her.

And he ran away, I didn't give them an answer yet they have their hopes high.
