Tuesday was Daniella's actual birthday.
Monday was horrible.
Jace was nowhere to be seen and Daniella's mind began inventing horrible thoughts.
At lunch the emptiness from yesterday was still there but was a little stronger today.
Sam sensed something was wrong with Daniella but he kept his mouth sealed in case he said something unintended.
Daniella could only hope for the best.
But the nightmare of losing Jace was one she couldn't rid herself of.
At the end of the day Daniella decided to walk home.
The summer breeze hung lightly in the air, welcoming the winter a spot in the season.
The leaves on the trees hung feircely to the branches, but she knew only a few would live through the changing seasons.
