salem dragged her thumb along her now tinted cheek and smiled softly.

"do i make you nervous, olivia?" she asked sweetly, a soft smile still adorning her face as she took in their current position.

"NO?" OLIVIA WHISPERED nearly under her breathe, stating it as more so a question than a statement.

"mmm are you sure?" salem teased playfully, the soft tint that once adorned olivias face becoming a blazing red under salem's stare.

"obviously not?" she said softly again, her brain seemingly melting from the nervousness bubbling into her body as she felt herself trapped under salem.

it wasn't a bad nervousness, she didn't feel claustrophobic or fearful, nor did she feel uncomfortable. she truly couldn't pinpoint where the nervousness was coming from, but the butterflies in her stomach began to work their way up to her throat as her breathe hitched.

salem's hand moved from the girls cheek to place just above her heart so she could feel how fast it was beating.

salem's eyes moved back up and met olivias as an innocent smile came to her face.

her hand moved back to cup her face.

"there's no need to lie, liv. i know i make you nervous," she said, as olivias face just reddened. she couldn't form words at this point, all becoming a blur.

"i'm just teasing you," salem giggled, laying her head back down on olivias chest.

olivia still said nothing, and salem began to feel bad, guilt working it's way into her stomach for possibly making her feel uncomfortable.

"i-i'm sorry if i made you feel uncomfortable when i did that by the way i honestly don't know why i did but if you want to leave that's-" she began, but her rambling was cut off by olivias voice.

"you talk too much," she whispers, her voice sounding slightly hoarse but still a sweet sound to salem's ears.

she didn't actually take in the sentence until a few seconds later.
