WEEKS PASSED AS THE TWO GIRLS RELATIONSHIP grew more and more serious.
olivia showed the texts she had received to salem, who grew quickly furious and blocked the number from both of their phones, which seemed to stop any more texts from coming through.
instead of saying olivia was paranoid when she got nervous, salem comforted her, making sure she knew she was the only person she was talking to and how much she loved her.
the communication between the two became clearer, and they spent nearly every day together.
to olivias surprise, the amount of time she was spending with salem was upping her motivation by quite a substantial amount.
she found herself constantly writing songs and thinking of new lyrics just by being with her, and this time, they seemed to be filled with lighter emotions than her previous album filled to the brim with heartache.
one night, a couple weeks ago, salem and olivia were cuddled up on salem's couch watching the office, as per usual.
olivia noticed salem getting a little bit nervous and fidgety, so she paused the show to make sure she was alright.
"what's up babes?" she asked sweetly, genuinely concerned.
"uh well we've been, yknow, talking for a while and i just like i know we couldn't before because of the texts and everything and it was all super stressful and i completely understand if you think this is uh too fast or whatever but i was just wondering if maybe you wanted to be my girlfriend?" she rambled quickly, a blush coating her cheeks.
olivia stayed silent due to the shock of it actually happening, although she knew it would happen eventually, she just could never imagine it.
"i'm sorry i knew it was too fast i just like thought maybe-" salem began, about to ramble out an apology for putting olivia in an awkward position when olivia interrupted her.
she connected their lips, which shut salem up instantly.
she broke away from the kiss and smiled, cupping salem's jaw.
