OLIVIA SPILLED EVERYTHING TO SALEM, starting from the very beginning and explaining in immense detail how defeated she was feeling and why.
she had already gotten in contact with her lawyers but they said they really couldn't do much since she had signed a contract, further drilling the nail in her coffin.
luckily she had been paying close attention to the taylor swift case due to the fact she was (and still is) a ravid swiftie, and had negotiated her record deal so she could have control over most things.
however, it seems she didn't read the fine print carefully enough.
they had power that she didn't have, and there wasn't much she could do about it until the contract expired in 2 years.
she was most definitely not willing to give up on her relationship with salem for the mere fact her agency couldn't deal with it, but now she had bigger issues on her hands.
salem sat on the couch kind of shocked, in the sort of way how she couldn't really come to understand all the legal terms but just knew it was bad.
she wanted to strangle practically everybody for their blatant disrespect for olivia, and she could feel her blood boiling as her hand subconsciously squeezed olivia's thigh a little tighter than before.
she breathed out slowly, regaining her composure and moving her hand to lightly squeeze her girlfriends shoulder in reassurance.
"everything is going to be okay, alright? if you do decide to leave me it's completely your choice and i know how special your fans are to you i promise i won't be mad," salem says, her voice slightly breaking as she clears her throat.
olivia's eyes widened in shock as she sees tears brimming in salems eyes. did she really think she was going to break up with her over some stupid problem with the agency?
"what? baby no no, come here," olivia says softly, opening her arms as salem gladly accepts the gesture, breathing a sigh of relief at the feeling of her girlfriends arms around her and the reassuring words.
