Chapter Six

Another chapter so soon! I hope you guys are happy. I'm on a roll!

Reid felt the lips of Derek Morgan against his, it felt like he was dreaming. There was no way in hell it was real. No. He thought Morgan didn't like him, only as a friend, he said that.

Though the kiss did work, it helped him out of the negative thoughts that were lingering in his brain. The kiss made him feel more in the moment. So when those soft lips left him, he felt an overwhelming amount of sadness.

Reid looked at Derek as tears were slowly rolling down his face. The genius didn't know what to say, he was just kissed by someone who he had a crush on for a while. He didn't think this day would ever happen. 

He could see a small smile lace Morgan's face as he also wiped away the tears off Reid's face. "Why did you do that?" Reid asked clearly very confused.

Morgan just rubbed the back of his head and chuckled, "well I kinda heard that holding your breath can help stop a panic attack. So I guess when I kissed you, you held your breath." You could see the smile on Morgan's face was genuine. But still, Reid couldn't get himself to see that Morgan would actually kiss him.

So Reid gave him a confused look, "But why would you want to kiss me? I'm not someone that people would want to kiss. I'm not someone that anyone would like." Reid just started to go on about how he wasn't worth anyone's love, or how he didn't deserve affection. 

Again Morgan stopped him by kissing his cheek, "Actually, I've liked you for a while, just with everything going on with you I didn't want to pile it on to your problems, but look here I am now doing that." Morgan sighed realizing that this would probably end worse for him than he realized. 

Reid had a smile lacing his face, he just couldn't believe that someone he liked actually liked him back. He also couldn't understand why anyone would like him. "I like you too Morgan," Reid said as a small blush started to form on his face. 

Morgan couldn't believe his ears! Did hear that right? Did Reid actually like him back? He was acting like a high school girl. Morgan still had a wide smile on his face, "Really?" He asked as if the words that came out of Reid's mouth were nothing but a lie. Spence just nods his head as an answer knowing he wouldn't be able to say those words to him again. "Well, I'm glad it wasn't one-sided.." Morgan says while rubbing the back of his head. 

Reid gave him a small smile, "Same here.." It was nice to think that the genius was actually able to like him the way Morgan liked him. He was happy, it might have been the happiest he has been in a long time. 

Reid got up off the floor, smoothing out his disheveled clothes. Afterward, he went over to the sink and splashed water on his face to make it look like that he didn't just have a panic attack in the bathroom. 

"Hey, Pretty Boy? Would you like to go on a date with me?" Morgan asked with a small blush creeping up his face. Reid quickly whipped around as if he didn't hear him right. "Like right now?" Reid asked as if he has never been asked out on a date before, 'wait has Reid ever been asked out on a date?' Morgan asked himself... That can't be right. 

But Morgan just shrugged it off and answered Reid's question, "Yea, if that's okay..." Morgan didn't want to push Reid especially if this is his first date. Again Reid just nodded not saying anything. Seeing Reid so quiet kinda scared him a little because usually, Reid would bore the whole team with some interesting facts that he just had tucked away in his mind. But again ever since Gideon left he has been almost a completely different person. So the team didn't really say much and let the genius grieve. 

They both walked out of the bathroom, walking past Emily and JJ chatting away. The two females had confused looks on. They noticed how close the two have gotten lately and they were now thinking that a lot more than simple conversation happened in that elevator. "where are you two going?" JJ asked with a smirk on her face. She just had to ask, she had to know what was going on between the two. 

Morgan looked down at Reid and he just shook his head, telling Morgan that he wasn't ready to tell them yet. So Morgan replied, "I was taking Reid home. He drove here with me so he doesn't have a car." Which wasn't really a lie, Reid did ride there with Morgan and he couldn't really go home until he was able to get a ride. 

"Okay whatever you guys say." It was clear that Emily was able to see through whatever they had going on. She knew all too well what it was like to hide a relationship. She gave a wink to the two as they walked away. 

The two men walked out of Quantico and into Morgan's car. "So where would you like to go?" Morgan asked with a smile. 

Reid replied, "How about that little Mexican restaurant that we like." Reid knew that Morgan really liked that place and he wanted to see Morgan's face light up when he would take a bite of food. So he knew going there would be an amazing idea for their first date. 

Derek had another bright smile on his face, Reid could swear it was as bright as the sun. "that's amazing." Morgan replies. Reid knew Morgan all too well. He has had a crush on the older man for as long as he could remember, probably ever since he laid eyes on him. So knowing the small things that Derek liked were easy for him to remember. But it also might have to deal with the fact that he has an eidetic memory. So remembering things wasn't hard for him, unlike most people. 

As they drove there Reid just kept his eyes fixed on him as Morgan's eyes were fixed on the road.

OMG Finished this chapter believe it or not I have been working on this all week and I wanted it to be able to be a nice read. It's also nice because there weren't as many depressing things in this chapter. Wonder about the next chapter though.
