I slowly opened my eyes with the sunlight hitting my face. My head is throbbing in pain and I couldn’t fully open my eyes. It hurts a lot. How much did I drink last night for me to feel this misery?

“Good morning.” I heard Ryan’s voice.

I forced myself to open my eyes and my mouth turned into ‘o’ when I saw him topless with only his shorts left. Wow, my breakfast. I smirked and covered my face with the pillow.

After playing last night, I immediately fell asleep on Ryan's shoulder. I was so tired and so drunk, that’s why I was wasted so easily. Usually naman ganun talaga yung nangyayari. On a normal day, even if you give me 2 bottles of alcoholic drinks? I could finish them all without feeling dizzy.

Tinignan ko ang suot-suot ko and I’m wearing nighties instead. I gulped upon a realization. He probably saw my fresh scar. Nagangat ako ng tingin kay Ryan who's just in his usual face and expression.

“Does your head hurt?” He asked and handed me a glass of water.

I nodded bago naupo at inabot yun para uminom. I was watching his reaction while drinking, waiting for what he was going to say next. I’m sure he’s going to ask me about my scar—

“Aya gave me an invitation last night while you were asleep.” An invitation? Aya usually don't celebrate her birthdays in a venue anymore.

Nakahinga ako nang malalim when the topic changed. I hope the lights are off when he changes my clothes last night—

“What happened to that fresh scar of yours?”

Oh no.

Ryan Enzo Vauntier POV
“Here’s the invitation to my party.” Aya handed me the invitation while I was carrying Cali. She looks so wasted but she's able to walk straight in my direction just to hand me her invitation. I managed to take it from her by using my other hand.

“Thanks, advance happy birthday.” I greeted her.

“Thanks.” She nodded and left.

I went upstairs, carrying Cali in a bridal style. Luckily the door of her room is opened kaya nadalian lang akong pumasok. I gently laid her down the bed with her one piece on. She’s already dried because it’s been so long simula nung umahon siya sa pool.

I looked at the scrubs on the floor and smiled. She forgot to put it in the laundry basket. Kinuha ko iyon at nillagay roon before getting one of her nighties to change her in. The lights are off but I still can see the beauty of her body. Yet, while changing her clothes, I noticed something.

Hinawakan ko pa iyon to confirm my hunch. It really is a fresh wound. Pero walang tahi?

Umangat ang tingin ko sa mukha niya. What did you do this time?

Aurelia Calista Villa Dela Riva POV
“Baby.” He called me again kaya nagangat ako ng tingin sakaniya. There’s his worried stare.

“It’s just shallo—”

He cut me off and crossed his arms. “What happened to that wound of yours?”
