It all started with Marie. She, nor the one with her, Walten, knew of the infection that hit the carnival they were going to record.
"Dang, noones here?" Walten asked. "Whatevs! It means we can record all we waaant!!" Marie stated as she ran off with the recorder. "Mari! Wait!" Walten yelled as he ran after her.
Walten and Marie were different as they came from different families. For example, while Walten was the cautious kid, Marie was the risktaker. Yet they shared the same interest of recording abandoned places.
Marie managed to record some interesting things such as a fox in a cell with strange eyes. Walten was impressed yet he couldn't shake the feeling of someone following them.
"Aaaand, done!" Marie yelled to Walten. "That's great, now lets get out of here, I've got a bad feeling about this place.." He said. "Okay!" She said as they both attempted to leave the carnival together.

But someone was behind Marie, and took her by surprise. Walten noticed a bit too late as a hammer suddenly swung at Marie, cracking her skull open letting blood seep out of it and the recorder hit the ground.
"MARI!!!" Walten yelled as he helplessly watched as the creature killed Marie. He grabbed the recorder and ran away, aiming to keep Marie's death a secret.
But of course, the dead wont be dead for long. Marie's spirit rose from her dead body with no memory of how she died nor who she was. She decided to find a new body before she finally found one. A body of a deactivated robot...thing. It looked like a ink demon but is it really a ink demon? She didn't know but she'll find out!
She entered the body as it sprung to life! She looked at her hands before realizing she had no mouth. She tried to draw a mouth on her face where her mouth should be before she spotted a purple potion. Confused on what it does, she decided to drink it as her body suddenly ripped a mouth open for her to drink the potion, she didn't finish the potion before it happened.

"AGH WTF-" She yelled out as she tried to inspect what happened before realizing the potion had shattered against the floor. She decided to make up a new name on the spot and went with 'Cerena'. She had a new goal in mind, find out what happened to her and why she heard a familiar voice inside her head...
