Well if you wanted honesty
That's all you had to say
I never want to let you down
Or have you better of this way- I'm Not Okay (I Promise): My Chemical Romance http://youtu.be/dhZTNgAs4Fc

It was 2005. Fall Out Boy had become very famous, and your boyfriend, Pete had started to see you a lot less due to tours. You understood if he wanted to leave you and why he had to leave so often. After all, they say 4 years into a relationship is usually the downfall or the year whether two should break it off. You were a little pissed off at the fact that every minute of free time you two got would be wasted by not spending time together.

You were thinking of leaving him because you suspected he was cheating on you with several other women. This was the year of the downfall of the relationship and although you didn't want to leave him, you were on the verge of doing so.

"Pete?" You ask, trying to grab your boyfriend's attention from the tv. You had to tell him the truth.

"Yeah, babe?" He asks, still looking at the tv. Furiously, you grabbed the remote and turned it off, earning a "what the hell, (Y/N)!" from him.

"This is more important than whatever you were watching, Pete! I want to talk about us," you argue. His face goes pale. "Oh. What do you want to talk about?"

"Maybe we should take a break. I still love you, but I don't know what happened to our relationship. We rarely communicate with each other and I don't know where this is going," you silently say.

"I understand, but I will always and forever love you, (Y/N). You're my one and only," he replies, getting up from the couch and kissing your forehead, "maybe someday this could work again."

"Yeah, maybe. I'm sorry," you reply, grabbing your emergency carry on bag and your packed suitcase. Tears streamed down your face, knowing you had left the love of your life.

*10 years later-Present Day*

You were chilling in the bar, alone. You felt out of place, considering you didn't fit in with the rest of the people there. The "cool dudes" who just wanted to do anything to get laid (who wouldn't actually get laid at the end of the night), the guys who were trying to get over the fact their relationship had ended, the girls who took their sorrows over alcohol instead of ice cream, and the people who were there for old times sake.

You took a swig of your beer when you see out of the corner of your eye a guy sit down next to you. Because they had sunglasses on and a hat, you couldn't see what they looked like.

"One beer, please," he says. The bartender slides down the beer and the guy takes a swig himself of his beer. His voice sounded familiar.

"Hey," The guy next to you says.

"Hi," you reply, trying to sound like someone else. You had recently dyed your hair a different color.

"What's a pretty girl like you spending a night here in this bar?" He asks.

"Well, believe it or not, I'm trying to get over the fact that I had left the love of my life. And things ended a decade ago."

"Wow, that sounds like a familiar tale. Who was this lucky guy?" He asks, looking over at you and taking off his sunglasses. You mentally gasped but kept your cool.

"You," you reply. It's his turn to be taken aback.

"(Y/N)?"

"Hey Pete," you quietly say.

"Wow, it's been a decade already."

"Yeah." You awkwardly scratch behind your neck.

"You look.......different. And still amazing as always."

"Well no shit, Sherlock. I dyed my hair," you joke. You blush at the compliment.

He chuckles at your comment, "Look, (Y/N). I've been thinking about what happened to us."

"I have been too. And?"

"You left me devastated, (Y/N). As soon as you left, you made me reflect on what I was doing. I hated myself for being a dick when we didn't talk when we had the time. You're my one and only, (Y/N). All I'm asking for is a second chance."

"But, the band. The tour----"

"Sure I care about the band and the tour, but I know I can't be myself without you."

You thought about it for a little bit. You really wanted to say yes, but you weren't gonna give in this easily. Sure it had been 10 years, but you liked the single life a little.

"I'll do it Pete, if you can redeem yourself by taking me out. I want to catch up on what happened."

"I'll be able to redeem myself. Anything for you, (Y/N)," he says, hopping off the stool and paying for the drink. He quickly pecks your cheek and you can't help but wonder what that date would be like.

A/N Would you like Part 2 of this? The preference might take sometime, considering it's dealing with sickness. I'll still do some of my own imagines after I get requests. The different will be this: requests will say 'Requested-@(your username) x (Band Member): (Plot/Song).'

Shoutout to LeViNeFrEaK . She's an amazing person and writer. She has these two books called "The Girl Before The Braille Tattoo" and "The Girl With The Braille Tattoo." They're both equally amazing, and I might get a character in her book, I'm not sure.

Thank you for over 200 votes! You guys rock and I love you guys. Let's end this with a QOTI.

What would you guys like to see in the future for preferences?
