Y/n's POV
We were now on a bus
"Listen up. I don't usually lecture. Stupid people are stupid because they don't understand something. You know guys like that, right? Idiots that just don't understand-" Polnareff began but I cut him off
"What he's trying to say is that you have terrible taste in men. You're pretty, you could do so much better than that wannabe cowboy" I say. Kakyoin starts chuckling at my straight forwardness
"And you have better taste in men?" She asks me raising an eyebrow. I side eye Jotaro and he looks at me with a raised eyebrow. I feel my face heat up
"Ehhh I mean it could use some work but it's no where as terrible as yours" I say with a smile. Kakyoin saw the whole thing and his eyes went wide as his jaw dropped. I gave him a glare to shut up and he raised his hands defensively
"What's with you two?" Jotaro asks
"We-" Kakyoin began
"Shut up or I'll kill you cherry boy" I say darkly. He gulps
"N-Nothing" Kakyoin mutters
"Good grief" Jotaro says. Of course Joseph had seen the whole thing and decided to be vocal
"Oh our dear Y/n has a crush" Joseph says. I felt my face burn up as I gave the man a glare
"Sleep with one eye open" I say with a menacing stare. He sweat drops
"Now now Y/n, don't be like that" Joseph says nervously
"Whatever" Jotaro says and looks out the window. I signaled that I'd make them both suffer. I hadn't noticed that Polnareff was still talking to the girl
"Nena" She says
"Nena! That's a great name. You're the daughter of a wealthy family in the sacred city if Varanasi that we're passing through, right? You're good looking, and I can see that you're a smart girl. I have an eye for people, so I'm going to lecture you. Hol Horse is a horribly, lying piece of scum. You're being tricked! Your parents would cry. Listen up. You can't end up like this. It's easy to do that when you're in love, but you can't look at things this way. It's important to look broadly, and be rational" Polnareff says
"You're such a hypocrite" I mutter
"I'm not done talking Y/n, don't interrupt me" He says sticking his tongue out like a child. I roll my eyes. Polnareff went to speak but Kakyoin spoke first
"Hey. It's coming into view. The city of Varanasi" Kakyoin says.
"Man, it's getting worse" Joseph says. I look to Nena to see that she has a dead look on her face as she stared at Joseph. We all got off of the bus.
"What's wrong, old man. You don't look well" Jotaro says
"Looks like the spot that I thought was a bug bite got infected" Joseph says showing all of us
"That's gross" I mutter
"It's definitely swollen. It would be best to have a doctor look at it before it gets worse" Kakyoin says
"Hey, doesn't that sort of look like a person's face?" Polnareff asks
"Stop kidding around, Polnareff" Joseph says. Polnareff laughs
"Sorry 'bout that. Want me to go to the hospital with you?" Polnareff asks
"No! Stop treating me like an old man" Joseph says walking away
~Time Skip~
It was now night time
"And here I thought we'd finally be able to sleep in a bed" Kakyoin says
"Maybe if yhe old man hadn't screwed up and gotten cops chasing him down" Jotaro says
"I took care of things. We can take this car. Polnareff, you can do the driving. Hey, are you still in shock? I was the one attacked by the stand" Joseph says throwing the key at
"I'd rather have gone through that" Polnareff sulks. We all then get in the car and drive off
