처음 널 만나던 그 순간

At first, the moment when I met you

Your P.O.V.

I hurriedly went out the bus, knowing that I was going to be late for the first day of school.

"Y/n!" I turned around and saw my friend, Yuri.

We squealed in happiness as we both hugged each other.

"It's been a while! How have you been?" I asked her.

"Oh, same same. You?" she questioned in return.

"Well, sleep deprived as usual. That's why I woke up la--" I widened my eyes when I looked back at my watch and saw it was already 8.

"Shit! We're late!" I panicked as I was about to run off, but she held me back.

"Y/n, get back to your senses! Did you drink too much coffee again?" Yuri chuckled.

"Well, I drank but not too much." I replied.

"You dummy, it's only 7 o'clock." she laughed and I checked the phone in my bag, to see it was really 7.

"Wow, you really need to fix that vintage watch of yours." she teased.

I looked at my watch and noticed it wasn't moving. Uugghhh. I rushed for nothing!

"Tsk, it's fine. First of all, it's better to be early rather than late. And second, I just need to replace the batteries, not the watch itself." I retorted.

She just rolled her eyes and suggested we both stroll around the school for a while. But before I can take a step, something, or rather someone caught my eye.

Her long black hair was flowing gracefully over her back as she looked around. I could've sworn I almost stopped breathing when I saw her, she was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and no one has ever had this effect on me before.

I thought that this was enough to captivate my heart, but the moment she smiled, I felt like fainting. She looked like a greek goddess and I immediately fell for her. The way she moved, the way her eyes softened while talking to someone, the way her lips curved to a smile, everything about her was mesmerizing.

"Hey, Y/n! Earth to Y/n!" I was snapped out of my thoughts when Yuri shook my shoulders.

"Wha- what?" I asked, blinking my eyes rapidly.

"You look like you became a sculpture for a minute there." she claimed.

I laughed off her statement and pushed her to start walking, then I stole one last glance at the beautiful girl, hoping that this wouldn't be the only time I'd see her.

"Yuriiii~ go with meee~" I pleaded as I grabbed her arm and pulled her to me.

"Y/n, I told you! I have a date today." she resisted and finally pulled herself from me.

I pouted and crossed my arms, purposely looking away from her.

"Oh, come on! What do you even want me to do with you at the library?" she complained.

"Midterms are coming and I don't wanna faaiilll~" I groaned.

"Then study by yourself! I can't miss this date." she ranted.

"Ughhh. Fine!" I rolled my eyes and just stomped into the library, which I soon regretted since the librarian shushed me.

After getting the books that I needed to study for, I looked for a table where no seats were taken yet.

As I settled down, I sighed and brought out my notes and my earphones. Listening to music helps me study well.

I opened the first book and was about to start reviewing, but when I looked away for a bit, I saw a familiar figure not too far from my table.

My heart skipped beats as I recognized the features on her face. She was reading a book as well and yet, she's still as beautiful as ever.

She looked up from her book and on instinct, I averted my gaze onto the notebook in front of me, avoiding the chances of her finding out that I've been looking at her.

After a while, I gazed at her direction again to see her chatting quietly with her friends. I may not hear what they were talking about, but I was sure her voice was just as angelic as her.
