Ingredients Quantities
Flour 200g
Fat 100g
Egg 3
Green pepper 2
Carrots 1 large
Onion 1 large
Currant 20g
Nutmeg 1tspMethod
1:Sieve flour twice and add nutmeg.
2:Rub in the fat until it is uniformly mixed.
3:Add a little chilled brine solution(salt solution) and stir with a palette knife..
4:Mould into a dough and leave to relax in a covered bowl.
5:Wash,cut and grate the vegetables into smaller pieces and dice the currant.
6:Break eggs into a bowl,add all ingredients and any spice of your choice then stir.
7:Roll the dough on a floured rolling board and cut into round shapes.
8:Place the cut dough in a greased patty tin and fill with mixture of egg and vegetables.
9:Press the edges of the dough with a fork and glaze with egg white.
10:Bake in a preheated oven,cool and serve.Enjoy.
