“Hue? Are you awake?” Jhirgo asked from the other side of what I recognize as my room.
“No, I’m still asleep that’s why my eyes are open,” I replied sarcastically.
My father and the others came in my room not minute after I woke up.
“Um, guys, how long was I out?"
“About 12 hours,’’ my father replied.
I looked at my hands and saw that there’s dirt all over me, “can you guys please get out for now, I need to take a shower.”
After taking a nice long shower, I grabbed a pair jean of shorts and an oversized white t-shirt. I put them on after putting on my undergarnments. Not bothering to put any shoes or even dry my hair, I made my way to the kitchen where everyone is. They are all smiling and laughing at Shiro as he struggled to use a spoon.
Next day…
“Father, do you have any idea how to balance light and darkness?” I asked my father stupidly.
“Of course I do, just meditate, clear your mind, and think about light and darkness being equal,” he explained
“Oh, okay,”
“Try it,” he said as he lit the small candle in front of me and turned the light off.
I did like he explained, after a few moments I felt a nudge in my mind and open my eyes only to see the light coming from the candle lit half of the room.
“Wow,” I said amazed.
Maybe ruling the kingdom of darkness and light isn’t so bad after all. Let’s just hope that I’ll last long
