do you remember the times that we laughed?
celebrating half-victories with dancing
singing the song reserved for the two of us
smiling and fighting as if we would never die
living each day as immortals on a high

could you hear my screams?
as I watched you falling far from me
my heart shattered and the whole world froze
I crashed and I spiraled and I sobbed to the stars
is this how our story has to end after all?

the only air I can find now, stings my lungs
all the memories I have are broken pictures of us
my tears run fast as my heart aches for you
I'm left with little of the future that we were looking forward too

there's no you and I
there's no chance of goodbye
my love, war has stolen everything from me
and now it's taken the soul of my heart

alone... katie

Identity of 027:
Subject 027 is the shadowed, younger sibling of Captain Steven G. Rogers.
