Lucifer x reader || Avatar of Consent

(A/n: Haha, I always joke about his "consent skills" to myself, so here's one about it.)

      Walking into the building of RAD, you shifted the books in your hand to hold them more comfortably.

      'Just how much text books do I even need for this class? All we're doing is looking at a few specific pages and we're not gonna use them for the next, I don't know, 200 years? I mean, this is demon school.'

      As you went on with your internal monologue, you failed to notice the figure that approached you.

      '—and why do they have to be so heav—'

      A pair of arms wrapped around you all of a sudden, making you let out a shriek and let go of the stack of books in your hand. They dropped to the floor, the thud echoing around the school, catching the attention of every demon within earshot.

      A kiss was planted on your ear as the embrace became tighter. You knew exactly who it was, and the moment you were released, you turned around to see your boyfriend, Lucifer, giving you his usual smile.

      "Good morning to you too, (y/n). That scream was quite loud. I thought you'd be used to this already," he said, not bothering to hide the amusement in his tone.

      You huffed and puffed your cheeks, "Don't scare me like that! And I told you, consent please."

      He chuckled, bending down to pick up one of your text books, "Alright alright, don't look at me like that. Here, I'll help you. You don't want to be late for class."

      You sighed and picked up your fallen text books together with your boyfriend.

      Lunch time rolled around quickly, so now you played Tetris with your school supplies and your locker in a hurry. Your stomach was already rumbling for food.

      After shoving the last of your textbooks inside your locker— finally— you headed to the cafeteria.

      "Ah, (y/n), heading for lunch?"

      You stopped in the middle of the hallway.

      "Lucifer, hey," the demon approached you with his hands behind his back as you waved, "And yes, I am."

      He stopped right in front of you, "I see. Well, Barbatos gave me these cookies this morning. They're your favorite, so I was wondering if you'd like some?"

      Your eyes lit up at the offer and you nodded, "Yeah! Thanks!"

      Lucifer revealed a small box wrapped in cloth and you patiently waited for him to unwrap it. When he opened the lid of the box, the scent of fresh cookies wafted to you.

      Before you could take one for yourself, Lucifer took one already and close the box.

      You blinked, "I thought you were giving me some..?"

      He only smiled in response and hovered the cookie over your mouth. 

      You sighed and rolled your eyes with a smile, "I can feed myself, you know," but you accepted his offer anyway.

      Before you could finish bitting the cookie, Lucifer leaned in and helped himself with the other half while it was still in your mouth, making your lips brush against each other.

      "Wha-"

      "It tastes better that way."

      You stared at him dumbfounded as he just smirked.
