It was late in the night when Jaebeom started to plan the story line for the documentary.

What Jackson said got him thinking. His thoughts centred around Jackson, his vision and his desire to show the journey of Team Wang from start to finish.

The thoughts were soon formed onto paper. Calling Annie, Jaebeom tossed out his ideas and consulted her. They exchanged ideas back and forth until he got a clear story line and process outline. Allowing him to have clarity in which direction the documentary would follow.

The next day, Jaebeom presented the story line he had in mind to Jackson, the 3 team members and Mark. From there, they continued brainstorming. They took into account the feasibility, sharing some ideas and excluding several.

Eventually, they finalised the storyline and process outline.

Step 1: Making sure to tell a story you care about.
After the talk with Jackson, Jaebeom's passion to make this documentary lit up. Of course, he was excited. It was his first documentary. But now, it is more than that. It was a documentary of someone's vision. And not just anyone's vision. It was Jackson's vision.

Step 2: Research

With the help of Team Wang, Jaebeom is going to learn everything he could about the documentary subject. Namely, Team Wang and Jackson. The story line is relatively straightforward so they didn't have to worry too much.

Jaebeom would spend a week gathering facts and search for leads on interesting characters and story lines. In that week, he would also be following Jackson to understand him better. This is to enable Jaebeom to film the documentary with not only his lens but Jackson's as well, the documentary having the both of their distinctive qualities.

Step 3: Planning
They decided that the structure would be from how the vision for Team Wang was borne, to what Team Wang is today and envisioned for the future.

In other words, the core story points: how Jackson's belief: "KNOW YOURSELF, MAKE YOUR OWN HISTORY" was created when he was young. The story ending with how Team Wang has come far, one of the results being the opening of his pop-up store and concept space in Shanghai.

Jaebeom and Jackson's team would be gathering existing footage or photos that help tell the story as well as shoot brand new content.

They planned to film around Jackson's scheduled appointments. Utilising the existing situations such as Jackson's photoshoots where they can film. They wanted it to be natural.

Step 4: Creating a Shot List
They planned to use footage from Jackson's childhood as well as interviews with different companies and people. Footage that Team Wang has filmed would also be used.

Step 5: Shooting
When shooting an event, they would capture a variety of angles including close-ups, medium shots and wide shots.

Step 6: Write a Script
Once all of the footage is shot and they've gathered the various production elements, nly then would they start organizing it into a script. Pinpointing the most compelling elements of the story and crafting "mini-scenes" around those events.

Step 7: Begin Editing.
This would be handled by Team Wang's editing team. Nonetheless, Jaebeom would oversee the editing.
First, they'll choose the video editing computer and video editing software. Once they're all set with equipment, they'll start putting down the clips of footage one right after the other in a sequence.

Step 8: legal and copyright issues.
Jaebeom plans to use some of the interviews Jackson has been in inside the documentary. Therefore, he would have to ask the various companies for permission to use the footage and dialogue.

Step 9: Distribute
Jackson decided to release some parts of the documentary on youtube. The full version would be found on Netflix, Viu, iQiyi and WeTV. He wanted to make it accessible to his supporters.
