The past month has been normal... Except for Bucky and I dating.

We would eat together as a family, work at the farm or I would go on some vet calls, then work with Nizhóní. After that, Winnie and I would make dinner, or if the boys make dinner, we would do something mother and daughter would do. I would tuck in Winnie for bed, and then Bucky and I would sleep in his room or mine. Sometimes Winnie would sneak in with us, which we didn't mind. And throughout all of this, Meeko was always by my side; she always has to make sure I was safe.

This afternoon, I finished up some Vet calls and went shopping. The thing is, I felt like I was being watched. I couldn't shake the feeling, and deep down, I feel like Grant found me, but he couldn't. I didn't tell anyone where I was going, and I just left.

I sighed and grabbed the groceries, and walked to the front door to see Bucky on the front porch. He wore a tie that was loon around his neck, a button-up, some jeans, cowboy boots and his hair was slicked back.

"Someones dressed up," I smiled as he chuckled.

"I was just out; I went to do the taxes and pick up something from Blossom Creek," he shrugged.

"That's 80 miles away; why'd you go all the way out there?"

"Had to grab some stuff and pick stuff up, nothing too important."

"Sure..." I smirked and brought in the groceries as Bucky grabbed the rest and met me in the kitchen.

"What are you doing tonight?"

"I was just thinking I could maybe read and take a nice hot bath... Why?" I asked as Bucky wrapped his arms around me.

"I was thinking we could go out and get some pizza at the local pizzeria, then go on a walk around town?"

"I'd love that Bucky, but..."

"But?"

"I was thinking I could have a nice quiet-"

"We can be casual, and it will just be us two, then when we get back, you can have your bath. I'll get you a nice glass of wine and a book... I could even join you," he wiggled his brows as I rolled my eyes.

"Fine, I'll drive, be ready in 20." I winked and went upstairs. I left my hair down and threw on a shirt, pants and my boots. "I should put on a bra," I laughed as I could see everything in the mirror. I grabbed a bra and put it on, then my shirt back on, "that's better."

I laughed and grabbed my purse, then walked downstairs.
