19 | Where Is She?

"Y/n's car was on 541; she pulled over to when someone shot her tire... She got out, looked at the tire and then was taken."

"That sounds about accurate, Wilson," Fury nodded.

"Okay, but where would her Ex take her?" Steve piped up as Maria walked in.

"If her Ex AKA officer Grant Ward took her, he will take her back out East."

"What?! We have to find her; it's already been hours!" I huffed.

Maria looked at her apprentice, Daisy Johnson, as she nodded and started talking. "If he came all the way here to take what's his, he will take it. Even though Y/n is her own person, and she doesn't belong to anyone." Daisy huffed, "Y/n and I grew up together; she would never go back willingly. So, she's close... We just need to pinpoint her exact location."

"Okay, how do we find her? If her Ex had a car and drove, they wouldn't have made it out of town, since there are police out. So, he's hiding, but where..." Fury trailed off.

"If he is a trained police officer, he would know where to hide," Coulson pointed out.

"So, we need to think how where we would run? Not someone who doesn't know where to hide. Grab me a map of town!" Maria smiled and took the map from Daisy, laying it on the table. "The Westside is build-up; you can't hide there. The north side is where the farms are, so that's a no... But if he's planning on taking her back, he would try and go to the Eastside, wait for an open and leave with her."

"That's it," Fury smiled.

"Sir, I found Wards file," Peter Parker rushed in with Ned Leeds; they just graduated high school and worked at the desks of the station. He read the file as we listened, "then Ned did some more digging and found some shady stuff, Ned?"

"Yea turned out as a teenager; Ward tried to burn down his family home. He was then imprisoned until he was freed by John Garret, who trained Ward, who is also a dirty cop; he works with the gang Hydra... Ward has hidden evidence, let prisoners go, abused his power and... And Y/n," Ned looked down.

"Okay, we need to send out multiple search parties; we will do teams; keep your comms open. Got it?" Everyone nodded as Fury continued. "Rogers, Barnes and Wilson, team A. Coulson, Daisy, Maria and I, team B. Peter and Ned, team C, you two will just go to lookout point. You'll stay in the car and watch everything from there; you'll be able to hear and see everything from up there. We will walk all over the Eastside and find anything we can." Fury nodded as we all grabbed what we needed. To get to this point took all afternoon, so hopefully, Y/n is okay.

We guys rolled up our button-up shirts, put on spare combat boots that were at the station, then put on our vests with our flashlights. We all headed to our spots and started to walk through the woods, trying to find anything.

We did narrow it down to one place in the Eastside since we found some tire tracks and footprints. We were close.

"What if he hurt her? We've been walking for hours, the sun setting! What if she didn't-"

"Bucky, stop with the what-ifs. We will find her," Steve smiled.

"Yea, look what I found," Sam stood holding something.

"That's Y/ns shoe!" I grinned, grabbing it from him, "we are close!"

"Team A reporting, we found Y/ns shoe here and are getting closer, close in of the southeast side," Steve said into the comm.

"Isn't that where the old log cabin Mr. Pierce rented out was? He's dead now, but nothing was done to that shack. He was also a dirty cop! He worked with the gang Hydra! What if Ward has got Y/n there since he also works with the gang?!" Daisy Yelled.

"We are moving in," Maria said.

We kept moving and saw the cabin; we all circled the cabin, then Maria raised her gun and kicked the door open.

"Y/n?!" I breathed out as I ran in after them.

Nothing...

The place was a mess. There was a chair in the middle of the room, with broken ties on it. He tied her up... "She's not here..." I sighed and walked outside.

"No, but she's leaving us a trail," Daisy smirked as he held another one of Y/ns shoes heading East. We all started walking when Peter started talking; we could hardly understand him.

"Peter, slow down; we can't understand you!" Daisy yelled into her comm.

"Ned and I are at Lookout Point, hidden up top. We saw a car coming up the mountain and parked on the level below us. It's Ward and Y/n. Get down here!"

"She's there?!" I yelled.

"Yea, we are looking over the edge down at them, we are hidden, but we can hear them. Guys, Y/n doesn't look so good, so I would hurry." Ned whispered.

"We are coming; keep your comms open and put the mic out so we can hear everything. Watch them," Fury ordered as the boys agreed.

We all ran to the cars and were driving as fast as we could. We listened closely to the comms. I could hear the heartbreak in Y/n voice as she yelled at Grant... Then I heard three words that made me freeze. "Shoot me then!" Y/n yelled.

Please dont die, Y/n. Stay alive, stay alive. We all need you... I need you.

I kept telling myself as we listened.
