Chapter 5

I am running the North side, Benton is on the West side, Jessica is on the South side, and Andrew is on the East side. The Stonebloods territory is the whole mid West, it's pretty big."Anything?" I mind link the others. "No nothing" they all say. Where are they there should be someone watching the borders, I think to myself. "Ok we'll run the perimeter one more time then well go back." About 20 minutes later I smell this wonderful smell woodsy, and pine scent. I followed the smell it was a werewolf, he was all white with black paws. One word gorgeous! "MATE"... My wolf says in my head. Mate wait what! No my mate can not be part of that pack. I run before he can see me.

I mind link the others, time to go. We all run to find the rest of our pack. "Ashton we are on our way back" I mind linked. "Ok we found an abandoned house about 35 miles from you, I'll send Greg and Rey to come find you." Why did you run? My wolf asked me. I didn't answer her, she already knew why I ran. He is the enemy, I can't mate with the enemy. "BUT YOU WILL DIE IF YOU FIGHT THE MATING BOND!" My wolf yelled. It's better than suffering the rest of my life like my mother is. "You don't know if he's bad. He could be good, you should give him a chance". God we are complete opposites I am tough and think with my head. You are weak and think with your heart, I tell my wolf. I know I hurt her because I can't feel her anymore. We all get back to the abandoned house, everyone has come back from their little missions. The house is pretty big, needs fixed up little paint and a good cleaning. I open the door and the living room is huge whoever lived here before left all their furniture. There is a bathroom in the hall on your way to the kitchen, the kitchen is wow it's all wood, has big island counter, fridge, stove, the table can fit atleast 30 people the water works, but we dont have electric, good thing they brought back flash lights, candles also propane stoves to cook on. There are 5 bedrooms on the first floor with 3 bathrooms, the second floor has 6 bedrooms and another 3 bathrooms, the third floor has 6 more bedrooms and 4 bathroom, the attic has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All the bedrooms have beds, dressers, and night stands. There is also a basement, that has a pool table, and a couple pull out couches. There are only 20 rooms and 62 of us.... Some of us are going to have to share. "All the mated couples get their rooms, everyone else 3 to 4 people per room." Ashton yells. I don't want to fight for a room, so I just put my bags on one of the pull out couches in the basement, Leo follows me along with Sergio. Sergio is a fighter wolf, he doesn't talk much but I trust him with my life.
