Chapter 16

"WHERE THE HELL IS MY MATE?" I yell. I am surrounded by my pack and the Blackwood pack, we have searched every where for them. I can't mind link Kaibella or sence where she is because we are not mated. They disappeared from the mall, well the mall is close to the air port. I already had scouts look there, they looked at the mall, the surrounding woods. I am going crazy but my wolf wants to kill anyone and everyone. He doesn't care he just wants his mate back, I don't blame him I want her back too. When her pack came into my territory I thought they wanted to fight. My pack almost attacked them. When her cousins told me what happened I shifted into my wolf to try and find her scent but they were long gone by the time their pack told me. I am glad Alpha Cole is here to help, I met Kaibellas mom I didn't tell her we were mates but I think she already knows because when I met her she hugged me. I promised her I would get her daughter back and I don't break my promises.

"Alpha J.T can we talk privately?" Alpha Cole says. "Yes let's go to my office its sound proof." I say. We head into my office and Shania was sitting at my desk naked. "What the fuck are you doing Shania?" "J.T I thought since your mate was gone that we could become mates." She whines. I grab her and kick her out of my office. Alpha Cole is looking at me like he wants to kill me. "Alpha Cole I promise I have never touched that woman ever. I thought she was my friend, and she is my third in command." I explain to him. He sits down and says. "If you hurt my niece in any way I will kill you." I looked into his eyes and they were pitch black, I knew it was his wolf talking so I needed to calm him before he attacks me. "Alpha Cole I promise I would never hurt Kaibella she is my mate I have only known her for a short time but I already love her. I would do anything for her, she is the only thing that matters to me." I avert my eyes so he sees I'm not challenging him. He tells me to sit but me also being an alpha I don't want to follow his order. "I know that you are my mates uncle and your an alpha but this is my land I will not be ordered around." I look up at him. " Please sit I need to talk with you." I sit. "Thank you. As you know Kaibella's father was a ruthless killer, my sister did not want to have anything to do with him. He killed our father when he did I am surprised he didn't take over as alpha. He had told my sister that he would be back for her, he never did come back its still a mystery. Any ways she never knew who her father was until a couple days before she came here. I don't know why my sister sent her here. I guess since my sister should have been alpha and it be passed onto Kaibella but since I took over for my sister it won't be passed onto Kaibella it will be passed onto my son Ashton next year when he turns 21. I think my sister would never fight me for the alpha title, I know she would never have the cousins fight for it so in order for Kaibella to become an alpha she would take over her fathers pack. Do you understand now?"

I was shocked I didn't know this about Kaibella. No wonder her opinions on mates are messed up. This gave me more ambition to find my mate and prove to her that that's not how mates are supposed to be. I have to find her, I quickly shift into my wolf and jump out the window. I mind link my pack that we are going to search again.
