~Three~

Me and Dorian were on the boat and on are way to Salaam. We had to share a room on the boat, but I didn't mind. I sat in are room laying on the full-size bed while Dorian complained about how his hair was frizzy because of the ' humidity' and how he was going to puke from his sea sickness.

" Dorian if you puke on me or the bed I will throw you off this boat and let the mermaids do with you as they please". " you wouldn't."
" oh... but I would" I say turning and looking at Dorian. He send me a shocked look and throws his hand over his heart. So dramatic.

" you know what the mermaids do with men." Dorian says looking at me more sick than before.
" oh but mermaids aren't what you should be worried about Dorian. It's the sirens" I say smirking at him.

" stop. You know they will come if you speak of them" Dorian says standing up but dramatically falling while holding his hand to his mouth.

" shhhh I think I hear something" I whisper. Dorian sits up and looks at me wide eyed. He looks to the door, " is someone coming?" He asks softly. " no I- I think I hear..... SINGING" I say and jump off the bed and run to the window that looks out under the ocean.

" NO" Dorian yells and runs into me slamming us both into the ground. I burst out laughing. " STOP you know they will come and wreck the ship if you speak of them poorly." Dorian says and gets off me. He heads back to the bathroom and leans over the bucket.

" those are just legends" a sailor says while walking into are room. Me and Dorian both grab are knifes on are thigh. " no need to do that I'm just here with the water someone ordered" the sailor says holding up the glass.

" oh Merlin finally" Dorian says and raises his hands like a child wanting to be picked up. The sailor walks to Dorian and hands him the water and Dorian gulps down the water so fast it starts to go off the rim of the glass and down his jaw and neck and into his shi-

" so I heard you two where talking about sirens" the sailor says.
" yes we where, why do you have any story's?" I ask as Dorian hurls his stomach up into the bucket.
" nope, Iv only been a sailor for a few months. This is my 3rd time on the water. But I just think the sirens are legends to scare children when going over seas."

" oh but Every legend has truth to it. Plus Iv seen a siren with my own eyes" I say. Dorian makes a sob noise into the bucket. " oh shush" I say to him and sit on the bed to tell my story. " I was going over seas at about this time last year on a mission to the western lands when I heard singing. I went to see what it was when I looked out my window. I saw it. Perched up on a rock I saw a siren. Just about 45 minutes later are ship crashed and I managed to swim 3 hours to shore. I nearly died. I was lucky but I couldn't say the same for everyone else on the boat... I was the only survivor."

" Bull shit" the sailor says. " are you saying I'm a liar?" I ask. " yes. There is no way you where the only survivor no one could even swim 3 hours without there body giving in on itself"

" oh but I did. Your proof is me sitting in front of you." I say throwing my hands out to my sides. " there's to many gaps in your story" the sailor says. " like?" I ask. " what color hair did she have?". " she was bald sirens don't have a use for hair in the sea. What kind of fish has hair? That's a stupid question" I say.

" ok, what color was her skin and her eyes?". " her skin was blue and green, and her eyes looked like the clouds. She had no pupil and her whole eye was just foggy. I guess since they live so deep in the water, it's so dark that they don't find a use in seeing." I say shrugging my shoulders.

" shit. That makes sense" the sailor says looking shocked. " I have to go tell the others" the sailor says and runs out of the room. " SUPPER IS AT 8" he yells down the hall. I get up and shut the door, I lean my forehead against the cold wood and sigh. I burst into laughter. " what's so funny? Are you teaming up with the sirens to kill us all?" Dorian says
