Gundham Tanaka x Reader

A̶ P̶e̶a̶c̶e̶f̶u̶l̶ B̶e̶a̶c̶h̶?̶

I awoke to the feel of rhythmic waves hitting my feet. My eyes opened slowly to see a towering figure standing ominously over me.
He clearly had a bad aura about him, and I was worried.

Suddenly, without warning, he grabbed my arm and pulled me to my feet, before covering his face with his purple scarf. The scarf was clearly a winter scarf, and looked like it hadn't been washed for over a century.

His eyes traveled over my body as I turned away in embarrassment. He noticed my restlessness and smiled at me apologetically.
'GREETINGS MERE MORTAL'
He quietened slightly seeing the looks he was being given by the other residents of this beach.
'You have been blessed with my presence, for I am the one and only GUNDHAM TANAKA, THE DARK LORD OF THE UNDERWORLD!'

I grinned at him, I admired his energy. Grinning, I decided to play along. Not like I had anything else to do, I barely even remembered my name.

Before Tanaka could protest, I dropped to my knees and bowed my head.
'Oh Almighty Lord Tanaka, I thank you for blessing me with your holy presence, for I am truly unworthy of your divine wisdom which you shall implore on me in due time.'

After my long instalment, I rose to my feet and faced Tanaka. He turned away and hid his face into his scarf.
'Ah, you shall make a fine disciple to my dynasty in the underworld! You shall have to prove yourself worthy, but I would be glad to have you in my kingdom!'
He grinned cutely, and I couldn't help but blush at his cute little expression he made when he was happy.

Suddenly I caught my bearings and quickly realised we weren't the only ones on the island. 15 other teenagers stared towards me, as I died inwardly. I froze, and watched Tanaka follow my gaze. As he noticed the source for my discomfort, he flushed and covered his face with his scarf.

They huddled into a decent sized crowd, and we went to follow them. A big, plus sized man began to speak.

'My name is Byakuya Togami, I am the Ultimate Affluent Prodigy and the Heir to the Togami Empire. Let me be introduced to you plebeians so I can become aware of my surroundings.'

I scowled. I hated this stuck up bitch, he looks like he's got a stick up his ass permanently.

'Gymnast'
'Dancer'
'Hope'
'Coach'
'I can't remember'
This response caught my attention, as it did with the others. A red haired girl (Mahiru) spoke up.

'You..don't remember your Ultimate?'
The boy who spoke up had introduced himself as Hajime Hinata.
'I just don't remember.'
He looked immensely confused, and I immediately felt sympathetic towards him.

Suddenly, all eyes on the beach were drawn to Tanaka. Mahiru spoke again, this time addressing Tanaka.

'Who are you?'
Kind of blunt but okay. I cringed inwardly, knowing what his response would be.

'I AM GUNDAM TANAKA, RULER OF THE UNDERWORLD AND THE ULTIMATE BREEDER.KNEEL BEFORE YOUR OVERLORD! FWAHAHAHA!'

..that was much worse than I had thought it would be, and felt the awkwardness spread around the circle like a disease.

Yet again, everybody's eyes trailed through the crowd, looking for a person who hadn't yet spoken. I prayed it wouldn't be me, I don't like talking to people in case I embarrass myself.

However, slowly all eyes began to centre around me. One by one, all the eyes in the vicinity were trained on me. I notice Mahiru begin to talk, and I cut her off.

'Hi! My name is Y/N Enoshima, and I'm the Ultimate Hope ! Pleasure to meet you all!'

I saw a white haired boy perk up, I think his name was Nagito, at the sound of my Ultimate. Everyone always judges me by my Ultimate and it annoys me. Everyone gets the wrong picture really quickly. They picture and outgoing person, smiley and always vigilant. I'm actually a huge introvert, but I'm the best at keeping people hopeful in their darkest times.

'An interesting talent' I heard Togami say. This snapped me back into reality as I smiled jovially at him. He sneered and turned away. I think a vendetta will be in order soon.

However, our talks were quickly interrupted by a pink and white rabbit toy with a wand and skirt jumping out in front of us.

'What the fuck is that?!'
I synced with Fuyuhiko, but I didn't even care. I have no idea what this monstrosity could be, and it frightens me immensely.

Then the thing began to talk.

'Hey hey! Don't be alarmed! Love, love!'
Fuyuhiko spoke up.
'What the fuck are you, you look like a weird ass deformed fuckin build-a-bear..!'
The rabbit looked hurt, and I felt a pang of guilt.
'I..I'm not a build a bear! Meanie!'
Tears welled up in its eyes and I felt sorry for the creature. Without thinking, I walked towards it, ignoring the protests of the others. I sat down as gracefully as I could infront of it and pulled it into a hug.

I heard it gasp as it hug back, so I let it go and stepped back.
'Oh! Love,Love! Let me introduce myself! I am Usami, your guide to the island!'

This time I spoke up.
'Excuse me Miss Usami, but where are we and how did we get here?'
She smiled warmly at me and pulled a map out of no where. She pointed deep into the ocean and said, 'we are here! And you got here on a boat silly, how else?'

Souda gasped audibly, and I turned to face him.
'We are so far at sea! We aren't anywhere near land, how will we get back??'

Usami smiled and pulled out two bags.
'Don't worry about it student, everyone take a swimsuit, we are going to enjoy a day at the beach!!'

Everyone sighed and trudged away to change, me included.

Once everyone had arrived except Hajime, people began to enjoy themselves.
I didn't go into the sea, I don't like the idea of going in the sea in a random place in the world where I am unfamiliar with what wildlife could hurt me. I turned to my left and saw Tanaka building a sandcastle, so I sauntered over.

'Can I help?' I asked politely.
'Hah! You may not! This is a house for my Dark Divas and you shan't be apart of it!'
He looked down at his failing moat and sighed. Silently, I picked up a bucket and walked to the ocean. I quickly ran back with the salt water and slowly poured it into the gap where the moat lay.

Gundham looked at me and quickly covered his face with his scarf.
'Thank you mortal, I have reconsidered and you may help me create my masterpiece.'
I smiled and began crafting.

Seconds later we heard Hajime run over, saying something along the lines of not forgetting him just as thunder flashed above our heads. I instinctively moved closer towards Gundham, and he seemed to get the message and grabbed my hand.

Suddenly, TV static began to play before a voice rang out to the crowd. It didn't sound frightening but it felt like you should be scared.

'Everyone please report to the statue at the centre of the island.'
