I breathed a sigh of pure frustration as monokuma appeared before me.

Now, before you ask 'how do you know who monokuma is', bear in mind I have history with killing games. In other words, this isn't my first time being manipulated into a questionable activity involving killing my friends.

Yes, I was in the first killing game, set in hopes peak high. You see, you all know Junko Enoshima, mastermind and ultimate despair? Well, Junko's father had a sister, who married but kept her surname. She then had me, Y/N Enoshima, Junko's cousin.

Anyway, as monokuma sauntered proudly off his stage, dragging poor defenceless monomi away with him, I could feel the shock reverberating around the group. I didn't feel any shock, or fear, or despair. I'd done this all before, and wasn't going to give that stupid bear the satisfaction he seeks. As the Ultimate Hope, I must remain vigilant and help my classmates in their time of dire need!

'Hey guys, calm down! It's probably not as bad as he made it sound!' I reassured, before quickly getting shut down by Souda.

'Ok..? OKAY?! We are STRANDED on and ISLAND in THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE?!? WITH A KILLER BEAR I MAY ADD?! HOW IN THE RIGHT MIND IS THIS OKAY?!?

'Calm down everyone! We don't have any reason to kill each other, it's okay! As long as no body gives in and we all stay vigilant, we can defeat the bear with no people lost, okay?'

I smiled happily and felt the tension in the room drop as people began to speculate on their situation. They began talking, and I walked away. Im not particularly social, and I don't want to be caught up in anything, so I will take this time to gain some peace and quiet.

I walked back to the beach and sat down, not before monokuma popped up in front of me. I groaned audibly and flopped onto the sand.

'Welcome back Ms. Enoshima! You ready to turn against your Hope filled ways and turn to the despair filled bloodline you were destined for?'
He laughed manically and looked to me, waiting for an answer. I flipped him off without looking at him and stared deep into the oceans

After throwing a bunch of questions at me, he gives up and leaves and I sit quietly on the beach.

After about 25 minutes I hear the sand crunch under somebody's feet and they come to sit by me. Impulsively, I pretend to be asleep to avoid confrontation, before hearing a familiar voice.

'Wake up mortal, for I wish to converse with you..'
He sounded less boisterous than usual, so I snapped into action and spun to face him. His face was buried in his scarf, but he wasn't blushing, he was worried. I placed my hand on his shoulder and he tensed, so I gave him a reassuring smile before speaking.

'What's up Tanaka..?' He murmured something under his breath, so I gave him a questioning look.

'Call me Gundham, mortal' he faced me and gave me a look that made me feel as if I could take on the world. I matched his energy and grinned at him, before seeing the energy drain out of him and a pained expression replace it.

'Are you okay Gundham?'

'I am fine mortal, you do not need to fear for me. I am merely pondering what will come about of my divas if I am killed..'

I felt sympathetic for him, but I had no idea who the dark devas were. I had heard him mention them previously at the beach, but he never told me who they were.

'Who are the divas?'
He looked momentarily disoriented, before regaining his thoughts.

'I swear I must have told you.. FEAR NOT MORTAL, FOR I SHALL EXPLAIN ONCE MORE!'

At this, he pulls his crusty scarf away with a vicious force and out flies a flurry of fucking hamsters.

I quickly catch them, to Gundham's audible surprise. The hamsters began to hug close to me and I heard him almost screech like a pterodactyl, to which I looked up, alarmed.

'YOU MUST NOT BE A MORTAL, YOU CAN HOLD THE DARK DEVAS?! THEY MUST SENSE YOUR MAGICAL AURA FUHAHAHA!'

I visibly rolled my eyes and stood up and walked away, for which Gundham followed me like a lost puppy.

Suddenly, he ran in front of me and spun on his heel, forcing him to lose his balance and begin to fall towards me. I heard his hamsters screech and dived into action. I held his right hand with mine and pushed my shoulder against his, while swiftly grabbing his hips to steady him. He was breathing heavily, and I sighed in relief.

'Are you okay?' I asked him, concerned. He suddenly seemed to realise where he was, then immediately panicked, pulled away and rewrapped his crusty scarf around his face. Quickly, he grabbed the hand I had help before dramatically looking back at me. I visually rolled my eyes, before placing my arms in the 'what' position and tilting my head.

'You.. AREN'T DEAD?! YOU DIDNT DIE TO MY UNDERWORLDLY POWER!! I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT ABOUT YOU, MY DARK QUEEN! COME, MY DIVAS!!'

At this he ran away, his hamsters following and I was left stumped at what the fuck just happened. To be honest, it's pretty clear that he isn't mentally stable, but I think he's really cool, he has that sort of child like imagination that you lose when your parents tell you that Santa is nonexistent. Also, Dark Queen? That sounds like a pet name, and I generally have no idea if it's an insult or a compliment. Either way, it's only fair if I give him a nickname. So, as he runs away into the distance, I shout

'SEEYA DYNAMO-' before screaming as a hand grabbed my shoulder and spun my round. I lashed out and punched the offender straight in the face, then got a good look at them and gasped.

It was Nagito.

'Ah, sorry for trash like me disturbing you!'

Still dazed, I answered 'I was completely in the wrong here, don't blame yourself! Anyway what did you need Komeada?'

He responded like a fangirl, going on about how interesting my talent was, and I zoned out.
Suddenly, a hand pulled me to their chest and Nagito slowly backed away. I looked up.

It was Gundham.
