I feel as if the days are swirling into one. Another death has happened, and it feels like it's the same as before.
You see, the same happens every time. I investigate the scene before everyone else has recovered from the initial shock. This means that I get a firsthand view of an untampered crime scene, and this gives me a major advantage.
I must work faster. As the deaths go by, people will become more accustomed to seeing a body, so the shock of seeing a body won't last as long, and people will launch into action quicker. This was the case now. Hajime was the first to overcome the shock, and looks at me curiously as he begins to inspect the body.
After I step back and look over the monopad, it seems that Mahiru was struck by something, but the time wasn't specified. This was immediately suspicious, so I told Hajime to ask people not only where they were, but for how long. If we did this, we could narrow down the timeframe in which the murder could be committed.
We can obviously discount Hajime and Souda, as they give each other alibis, as we can with Sonia and Chiaki. If Akane's story is true, that gives her an alibi with Nekomaru. We can't find out of what Peko said was true, so we can't discount her yet.
This means the suspects are:
-Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu
-Peko Pekoyama
-Ibuki Mioda
-Mikan Tsumiki
-Nagito Komaeda (although I assume he was still locked up)
-Gundham Tanaka (:\)
-Hiyoko Saianji (prime suspect)After conclusion my list, I noticed a lot of murmuring circulating around me. I frowned and quickly left the beach house.
Soon after walking out, I am met with a surprising sight. I smash into Nagito's chest.
I stagger back and look up at him, who smiles back down at me.
'I am sorry y/n, ignore my clumsiness. Who died?' He asked calmly, and I smiled up at him, he returned the smile and waited for my reply.'Oh hey Komaeda, glad to see you are out of that room. Um..Mahiru's body was found in the beach house, and read this, it'll fill you in with what I found so far.'
I passed my notes to Nagito and watched him studiously. I feel like Nagito would be good to trust with what I learn. Even after his Hope outburst in the trial, he has shown himself to be smart in these sort of situations. As well as this, he didn't seem overly bothered about seeing another body, and doesn't get fussy.
After reading, he smiled at me and passed me back my notes.
'Thank you for sharing your notes with me y/n. Trash like me doesn't deserve the sympathy of an Ultimate.'
'Hey Nagito look at me!'
I grab his coat and pull him roughly down to my level.
'You aren't trash, you are an Ultimate, and you deserve the world. Whoever said that you don't deserves to be put down'
I grinned up at him and released him. He looked shocked, but he smiled at me.'Thank you y/n. I will go examine the body now.'
He left towards the beach hose without another word, and I breathed a sigh of relief. He can scare me sometimes.
Casually, I walked down to the beach and sat down.As expected, I heard the sand crunch nearby as somebody began to approach.
'You know, I sorta made a bet with myself. I count how long I can be alone for before somebody interrupts me, seems like a lot of people want to be around me at the moment'
I audibly sighed and lay backwards, before a familiar face towered above me.I suddenly had a sense of deja vu, so I giggled at the face above me.
'What is so funny, mortal? You dare laugh at the-'
I cut him off by grabbing his crunchy scarf and dragging him down next to me. After some angry grumbling, he quietened down and we silently watched the ocean.'So, what do you think huh? Another murder, gosh. Why do you think someone would do this?' I looked over at Gundham, and a flash of worry etched his face, before quickly hiding it over a look of superiority. I don't know if he was concerned about me or the case, but it doesn't matter.
'Dark queen'
I looked away, I'm really bad with nicknames and felt my face heat up. He grabbed my chin and tilted it towards him. I felt his warm breath on my face.
'I promise you everything will work out, it isn't something that you should be worrying about, okay?' His eyes stared piercingly at me, as if examining my soul. He let me go and stood up, seemingly satisfied, and walked away.I sat there, momentarily shocked, before the monokuma announcement played signalling the start of the second trial.
As I walked up that escalator I looked around at my fellow classmates. Every face was etched with worry and suspicion, and I couldn't blame them. One of us is a murderer. We just have to figure out who.

It seems Hiyoko made a promise with someone.
The killer forged two letters.
Hiyoko arrives at the Beach House...?
Mahiru arrives at the Beach House...?
A pretty anime girl mask.
Plastic water bottle... then what?
The Killer went inside the surfboard case!Hiyoko wakes up.
Footprints in the sand...?The killer dropped the lemon-flavored gummy!
Tie the bamboo sword to the sword bag...With a jolt, I came to the conclusion I had avoiding this whole time.
I swung my finger round to face the perpetrator.
'Peko Pekoyama, it was you!'
'Sonia first mentioned Sparkling Justice when she met Hajime in the library on the new island and explained her interest in serial killers. She brought up Sparkling Justice as an example and explains some points of its back story, including how they fight for an ideal of justice, speak Spanish, and leave a mask at the scene of their kills.'
'Peko overheard this conversation and decided to incorporate Sparkling Justice into her plans to save Fuyuhiko from the Killing Game by letting him get away with murder. After killing Mahiru Koizumi on Fuyuhiko's implicit orders, she left a the sparkling justice mask at the crime scene. Later, during the Class Trial, she donned another mask and adopts the persona of Sparkling Justice in an attempt to get us to vote for her as the blackened. During her performance she exaggerated the importance of Justice, went on with long-winded speeches, and used emoticons in her speech, acting out her idea of what this killer would be like.'
'Peko's gambit worked, her apparent revelation as a prolific serial killer was goading the us into voting her as Mahiru's murderer. Peko could not have been Sparkling Justice - as Hajime recalled, the serial killer was based in the area of Spain, and could therefore not be a Japanese schoolgirl like Peko. Fortunately for us, further questioning and Fuyuhiko's own inability to uphold Peko's version of events leads me to believe that Peko Pekoyama is the blackened!'
Silence spread round the room as a took a deep breath.
'Peko, what do you have to say for yourself?'
...'Young master Fuyuhiko, please permit me to make one final selfish request... I want you to remember the tool, Peko Pekoyama, who used to stand beside you... I would like it if you remembered that. ... That's it.'
I barely acknowledged monokuma screaming those faithful words, I only heard Fuyuhiko's desperation as Peko Pekoyama was dragged away for her inevitable execution.
It didn't go quite as planned.
I felt numb after watching the execution. As screams of terror echoed around the room, I turned my back and walked away. Today was just another day. We have to focus on survival and it get hung up on small things.
SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG IT TOOK ME AGES OML 😭👋🏻
