"I'm glad I came today." I told him.

"So am I, you have no idea how happy I am that you met my family."

"Your brother and Bella, how is the whole human/vampire thing going for them?" I asked.

"He fought it a lot more than I did and she figured it out for herself." he told me, laying on his back.

"Have they been dating for a long time?"

"A couple of months more than we have. He met her in January when she enrolled in school."

"They should be going to prom soon, I remember that." I smiled.

"I bet you looked amazing, they are going in couple of weeks I think."

"I had to, I was on the planning committee so I went all out. Pictures are somewhere in the house I'm sure."

"Didn't you go to a private school?"

"No, I went to public school. Why?"

"I was thinking of you in a schoolgirl uniform." he grumbled, his eyes closed.

"Gutter brain, stop it." I laughed.

"Couldn't help it."

"I actually do have a schoolgirl uniform though, and the cheerleading uniform too." I told him.

"What? Why?" he quickly turned to look at me.

"Halloween parties." I smirked.

"When can I see that?" he asked.

"When you're sure you can control yourself." I smiled.

"Tease."

"You wanted to know."

"Hmm, get some rest. Do you work tomorrow?"

"Not at the moment." I said, snuggling in.

"Rest beautiful . . . thank you for staying here."

"No need to thank me, I want to spend as much time with you as I can."

"So do I." he said, wrapping his arm around me to pull me as close as he could.

"You're stuck with me, Emmett Cullen." I yawned.

"Rest, I'll be here in the morning." he said, kissing my forehead.

I woke up at some point in the middle of the night when I heard my daughter crying, the clock said 3:45 am. This is her normal time to wake up hungry. I noticed quickly that I was alone in bed and walked into the living room to the cutest thing ever. Emmett was walking around the living room holding Ava Rae in a cute fuzzy blanket feeding her - her bottle.

"Go back to sleep." he said.

"You should've let me." I told him.

"It's fine . . . I got this." he said.

"How did you know?"

"Alice, she texted me and told me to take her out of the room. We thought you'd still be asleep and I'd be able to handle this."

"You're handling it just fine but I'm a light sleeper. Give her here." I smiled at him.

"I had it." he grumbled.

"I'm not saying you didn't . . . right piccola. Isn't Emmett just the sweetest?" I murmured as I swayed with her. "You know, she's pretty calm right now. It took grandma Morgan weeks to get here."

"Really?" He asked, all perked up.

"Mhmm. You've got the magic baby touch, she's just a little hungry, aren't you?" I smiled.

She fell asleep drinking her bottle which I knew would happen. After burping her, I laid her back down and she cuddled into her mattress with the little octopus that miraculously showed up in there. Emmett pulled me back to bed with him and I quickly fell asleep as well, the best sleep I've had in a while even with the fact that I woke up. In the morning, I woke up alone again but I could hear voices in the living room. I walked into the bathroom and found a dress hanging over the shower door, a towel and next to it, on the counter top was a small basket with hair products, another with my skincare products, and a brand new toothbrush still in its package.

Getting used to Alice is going to take me some time but I can be appreciative in the meantime. Ava is super quiet so I took advantage and showered and completed my full morning routine. The dress is really cute, a simple t-shirt dress that isn't too short which I really appreciate, in a burgundy color. By the bed was a shoe box with a pair of burgundy and black flat sandals. I just brushed through my hair and put it up in a tail before walking out of the room.

"Perfect timing." Emmett said as he set down a plate and a glass of orange juice.

"You are too sweet." I said walking over to kiss him.

"How many points do I lose if I say Esme prepared this? Hypothetically speaking, of course." He asked as I pulled my daughter out of the playpen.

"You receive instead of lose for being honest about it."

"Well if that's the case, mom did it. I really suck at cooking." He sighed.

"It's the thought that counts, big guy. You know, the whole Alice thing is a bit creepy." I smiled.

"Yeah, it takes some time. What with her seeing the future and Edward reading minds, there really is a lack of privacy in that house. That's why I ended up making my own place." he said.

"I bet, right piccola? So you build houses? Why don't you go into construction?" I asked him.

"It wouldn't be normal. We'd be finished building a house in a couple of days instead of the months that it normally takes."

"That's right, I'm pretty sure you did this already but has she had breakfast?"

"Esme got her time in after she brought the food. Let me tell you, the girls are enjoying having a baby around." he chuckled.

"They're going to spoil her." I complained.

"They absolutely are, be prepared. Alice is already planning a whole nursery here, I told her she has to consult with you first."

"What?"

"I uh ... I was planning on adding a room here anyway and Alice suggested a nursery." he smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head.

"Em, what is this?" I asked.

"We uh ... you mean a lot to me and I want to make sure that you're happy and comfortable here. With me and my family. We won't hurt you." he quickly said.

"Emmett Cullen, you really are something special." I said.

I got up and walked around the island to get on my toes and kiss him softly.

"I am happy here with you and your family." I told him.

"That's good, really good." he smiled, flashing his dimples. "Eat breakfast, I know you've gotta go home."

He took Ava out of my arms and walked to the living room so that I could sit down and eat. After I ate and cleaned up the kitchen, I went back to Emmett's room and fixed the bed before grabbing my things to put in Ava's bag.

"Do you have to leave?" Emmett asked, standing in the doorway of his room.

"Not quite yet, I just wanted to collect my things." I smiled.

It's so odd to me how Ava is just so comfortable with Emmett. She just melts in his arms and it's totally understandable because I do too. He's so good with her, I mean Emmett is just a big kid at heart. This draw to him is so undeniably strong, I don't really understand it but for the time being I'm not going to fight it.

The fact that I'm falling for a vampire is absolutely insane but here I am and I really do care for him. I am falling in love with him and although it doesn't logically make sense, it makes all the sense of the world in my heart. It just feels right. When I'm with him, I feel like nothing could ever go wrong. I feel strong and I feel beautiful and confident. He makes me happy.
