Chapter 4: Why?

Sam's POV

I've had so much fun with all of you guys but I think I'm going to go home.Its 9 and I'm really tired.
"Alright Bye Sam"Said Navy
"Bye Beautiful" Cameron said with his smile as perfect as it can be.
"Bye babe" Nash said"Im really sorry Hayes didn't show up I'll talk to him"
"Bye Sammi I hope you had a great birthday" said Skylynn. She's so sweet.
"Bye guys drive safe" I can't believe hayes didn't show up he said he wouldn't miss it he said he wanted to come. He probably went to Callie's birthday because he likes her better.

Hayes's POV

**5:30 at the bowling alley**
Where is everyone oh there they ar-
"Hi hayes"
"Ummm Callie?? What are you doing here you weren't invited"
"Hayes you have to come with me"
"Why?"
"Just come"
She pulled me away and took me into the trampoline park next to the bowling alley.
"Okay what?!?, I have to get back to Sam"
"You can't hayes I love you that's why I'm doing this"
"Doing what?"
She pushed me into a closet and she locked it and through the door she said " we are meant to be, Sam can't be your one and only.I'm your one and only"
She finally unlocked it and I ran to the alley and only Nash and sky were there.
"What the hell man?!?"
" Where is Sam?what time is it?"
"She left and its 10:12 why?"
"Callie trapped me on a closet.she made me miss Sam's birthday"
"Go next door and see if she is awake so you can talk to her. Come on let's go" Nash said and with that we left and when I got home I ran over to her house which is 2 doors down. I needed to talk to her.

Sam's POV

I can't believe hayes stood me up.... On my birthday. I'm never going to talk to him again.

Hayes's POV

I just remembered her parents are out of town so she can't open the door and I went to the side of the house and threw...

Sam's POV

Rocks at my window.
"Can you open the door?"
"Nope" I put the curtain down
"Please"
"No you stood me up hayes I can't talk to you right now"

Hayes's POV

She won't let me in. Think hayes think. Oh ok. I took out my phone and played "Maybe" I really want to try with her and it's her favorite song.

Sam's POV

OMG he's playing Maybe.That's my favorite song.I opened the window.
" You have 5 minutes"
He's started running towards the door I went to open it and we went to my bedroom.

Hayes's POV
" I'm really sorry I wasn't there"
" why weren't you there ..you said you wouldn't miss it for the world but you missed it hayes"
I told her everything that happened with Callie and
" Im really sorry"
" I'm sorry I didn't know you went through all of that"
"Tomorrow me and you all day ill pick you up at 11 okay?"
" Definitely"
I pulled her into a hug and whispered "happy birthday" and she whispered "thanks poo bear"

Sam's POV

Then he crawled out of the window and climbed down the tree and walked home. I can't believe That just happened.

Hayes's POV

I walked home thinking tomorrow has to be perfect and that means stay away from Callie as possible. I can't believe that just happened.
