Surprise

I wonder who came to visit. This summer I only saw Hayes Ace and Cameron once every week. It's been 4 weeks since school was out.
Tomorrow is July 4th. I love the Fourth of July. Ive never missed it. All of our friends go to the park early and we play volleyball all day and eat and play baseball. At the end of the night we sit at the baseball field and watch the fireworks. There so beautiful. The doctor said that I won't be let out because its not safe for me.
"How are you doing today Samantha?"
"Lousy, I want to go Have fun on the Fourth of July"
"You can't it's for your own good"
"Awwww come on Doc it's America's birthday tomorrow"
"Yes but it's not your birthday" He walked away and told me he would bring in a surprise visitor.

"ACE!!!!" My little German Shepard who was now alittle bit taller then when Daniel gave him to me ran in the door and started jumping on my hospital bed.
"I'm sorry Buddy your not tall enough to jump up with me and I can't jump down and get you"
"Need some help?" a familiar voice called out to me. He reached out for Ace and put him on the bed with me.
"DANIEL!!!!" I hugged him and Ace started licking me and Daniel. I laughed.
"I missed you so much" He said.
"I missed you more" He kissed me and held onto me.
Ace barked at his lack of attention. Daniel smiled. I missed his smile. I missed the way he played guitar. I missed his laugh. His voice. I missed that we could talk to each other about anything. I missed his kindness.
"Why aren't you in LA?"
"Hayes told me you were in the hospital so I came straight over"
"Daniel I'm fine You should really have stayed and finished your songs and I don't know do what ever Famous people do"
"I'm not famous yet Babe"
I smiled at his remark.
"But really you should get back"
"Aton says the same thing but he said that I could spend the 4th with you but I have to catch a plane at midnight."
"The doctor says I have I stay in tomorrow. I'm really bummed about it but you should go spend it with Hayes and his family"
"No I rather stay in here with you and our Baby"
"Who Ace? Ace is already 3 months he isn't a baby anymore He's going into training soon"
"Training?"
" Yeah he's going into beginners K9 training just so he can learn the basics and to track and find and things that police dogs do but he won't be going into the force"
"Oh did you sign him up?"
"Yeah he starts in a week... Is that a problem?"
"I would have liked for you to ask me first but no I don't have problem with it"
"Umm okay... Sorry I should have asked"
"Well too late"
"Daniel what is your problem?"
"Nothin just I'm his parent to so I would like to know whats happening"
"Okay I'm sorry"
"I'm sorry Sam... Im just really stressed out and I'm taking it out on you and Aton and Im really sorry I love you so much and I don't want to leave you"
"Daniel what are you talking about?"
"Aton wants me to move to LA next year around this time"
"So you won't be with me through my last 2 years of high school?"
"No ill be living in LA"
"Daniel" I sighed and tears started running down my cheeks.
"Aww no please don't cry Sam If you cry ill cry and I haven't even signed the contract so I might not even go"
"Daniel you have I go its a once in a lifetime opportunity"
"Well I'm supposed to sign the contract after I launch my first song"
"Can I hear the song?"
"You already heard it... On your birthday I sang it to you"
"Oh.. 'Maybe' ?"
"Yeah 'Maybe'"
"I love that song But didn't you write that for me?"
"Yeah so you'll be just as famous as me"
My eyes widened and I gave him a big hug.
"Thank you Daniel"
"First my song has to Launch big and I have to perform for people and meet them and do shows and tours and stuff after the sing gets big"
"I'm so proud of you Daniel"
