School is out. Finally.
Summer is in. Heat. Sun. Water. Hayes. Not Daniel because he's going to LA to put out some of his songs which sucks because I'm going to miss him like crazy.
At least I have Hayes.
"Hey Sam.. you ready for summer??"
"Yes Hayes I'm ready" I smiled at him.
I walked home with Daniel. Me and Daniel decided to skip football because it was His last day in NC. He won't be back for 2 months. 1week before school starts again.
"I don't want you to go"
"I have to, Aton Says that's the only way that I can have a career"
"Ill miss you" my eyes got red and I hid my face in hands.
"Don't cry, if you cry then, I cry" He hugged me as I cried into his chest. He smelled good. Like really good.
"You smell good" I admitted to him. He blushed.
"It's my new cologne.. you like it?"
"Yes and that's why I don't want you wearing it"
"What why?"
"Because if I like it then Cali girls will love it and try to steal you"
He slightly laughed. "I'm serious Daniel it could happen"
He shook his head.
"No it couldn't..I love you too much for that to happen, I got you something" I looked surprised.
"Really what is it?"
"Ace!!" he called out. A German Shepard puppy came scrambling out of no where.
"Daniel, You didn't"
"Oh but Sam I did, I always knew you wanted a dog and we can share this one" I hugged him tightly.
"Ace?I like it" I smiled at him and pet the dog.My dog.Our dog.
"I'm going to need you to take care of him this summer and when I get back..Well share the responsibilities."
"Oh Daniel I love you" I crashed my lips into his. He pulled me closer. The dog barked. Daniel broke the kiss and we looked at Ace for a little while.
" Wanna go inside"
"Yeah let's go" Daniel left Ace in the back yard and we went inside to talk.
"I'm going to miss you"
"Hey look at me.. It's only for a little while, Ill be back really soon" he pecked my lips.
"Daniel I don't think I can say Bye to you" I looked at my feet. I knew I was about to start balling my eyes out.
"Then lets not say bye....Lets say See you later" I smiled at his thought.
"I love you"
"And I love you" he said.

It was almost midnight. Daniels parent came to pick up Daniel so they can go to the airport.
We stood at the front door. Just staring at eachother.
"I can't Daniel" I started crying and I ran inside.
"Sam look at me... I will be back so soon and you have Ace to keep you company. I love you" he kissed one last time.
"I love you Daniel....See you later" I kissed his cheek. He hugged me and held me tight. it was the best hug that I've ever experienced.
He got in the front seat of his moms car. He rolled down the window and blew me a kiss. I caught it and I put it in my pocket. I blew him a kiss and he dramatically caught it and held it at his heart.
His Car pulled out of the driveway. I yelled out to him.
"Call me when you get off the plane!!!"
"I will See ya SammyCake!!!"

I stood there watching until his car was completely out of sight.

I already miss him.
