Yeonjun found himself walking around alone one night, tired yet unable to fall asleep. He left a note back for Huening Kai and Soobin to read if they happened to wake up and wonder where he is. The moon sat high in the sky, thankfully uncovered by clouds. Though that doesn't take away from the cool breeze that came and went as Yeonjun kept walking.

Unconsciously he started making his way out of town towards the forest.

With his hands in his jacket pockets, Yeonjun looked around at the dark stores and up at the stars hardly visible because of the streetlights. Almost no one was out at this time, leaving the streets mostly empty minus a few stragglers here and there. As eerie as it seems, it's also oddly peaceful.

His mind replayed many different things over the past three months, how they went to Jimin's bakery almost every weekend for the two younger boys to work (though they mostly played around), the times the three of them went out for "picnics" on nicer days in some of the unpopular parks, and he even thought way back to the day he met Soobin and how that day changed his life.

It was a strange thing for Yeonjun to think about. Watching Soobin recover from the trauma that he carries. Everyday the taller seems to be getting slightly better, though that doesn't mean there aren't still rough days or times where he has breakdowns. Even to this day both Yeonjun and Huening Kai have to be careful about touching Soobin in any sort of way. Still Yeonjun was just glad he could help him in some way.

Yeonjun didn't really think about himself up until now, even after this time he can't say he feels any different. Sure when he was around Soobin and Huening Kai he felt happy, he could genuinely feel that. But despite those times he couldn't help but still feel numb to everything. He feels broken when he thought he'd of felt even the slightest bit better by now. At least that's what he thought.

Yeonjun's head quickly snapped around as he suddenly became on high alert. A car pulled up relatively close behind him causing him to immediately panic. While he didn't notice any police marking, it very well could've been a undercover cop. So instead of assuming that it was a civilian, Yeonjun instinctively thought it was a cop after him.

"Shit." He cussed under his breath, turning on his heels to dart off. Why the hell did they even pull up behind me? There's no possible way they could've recognized me.

He turned a corner, pushing himself to run faster as he felt the adrenaline enter his system. Yeonjun stopped himself though when he didn't hear any sirens or see any lights flashing behind him. Confused, he stood still for a few seconds to see if anything would happen.

He was even more confused when he heard a distressed scream. It felt bad, but Yeonjun walked back and peeked around the corner he came from. Though there was nothing to see as the car sped off in the opposite direction, lights still off.

No one was on the street, Yeonjun went out to check all of the alleyways as well. He never found the source of the scream. A heavy breath passed by his lips. He didn't know why he cared, but he did. Something in his gut told him that this was a bad situation.

After a few minutes of still not finding anything, Yeonjun kept walking in his original direction, trying to brush off what just happened. The more he walked the more he told himself to not space off as he did before. He knew that he needed to stay on high alert now for a few different reasons.

Yeonjun didn't even make it to the forest like he intended to, his feet brought him to another place. He stopped outside of a familiar convenience store and looked inside hesitantly. Every time he comes here he doesn't even realize it until he's outside of the doors.

He could say that he's become slightly accustomed to the friendly cashier, there was something about him that kind of allowed Yeonjun to let his guard down. But when Yeonjun looked to the check-out area, Taehyun was nowhere to be seen.
