"What's something you've always wanted to do or experience but haven't been able to?" Yeonjun asked the question with a light voice, though he sounded serious.
The five sat in the warmth of the car, the temperatures suddenly dropping a few days prior. They didn't want to leave this area quite yet, leaving them to sleep in the car instead of the cold, abandoned building. Each of them were located in the same areas they sat in before, deeming them to be their unofficial yet official spots.
"It doesn't have to be extravagant." Yeonjun added, looking out of the front window at the stars near the horizon. "Literally the simplest thing that you haven't been able to do before."
"Where'd that question come from?" Beomgyu made the remark in a playful manner, having found himself in a comfortable position where he felt like it was okay to let loose with everyone.
"It's just something random that I thought about." Yeonjun shrugged his shoulders, turning in his seat to look at the others. "Just answer the question."
"I've never been to the fair before." Taehyun spoke up before anyone else, hugging his knees with a small smile on his lips. "I've seen advertisements about it, this carnival type place. It seemed fun, a place to escape reality for a while."
Yeonjun nodded his head, making brief eye contact with Taehyun. There was a small moment of silence as the others startled thinking about their answers as well.
"I guess I've never been to the mall before." Soobin laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. "And I guess it's kind of related to playing in an arcade as well, cause I've always wanted to go to one of those too. I was never allowed to play video games and I only heard things from peers or from what I read in books."
"I guess I've never been to an arcade either." Taehyun said the words mainly to himself, running a hand down the side of his face.
"Don't laugh at me." Beomgyu warned, already a hint of red on his cheeks. "But I've wanted to ride on a bus."
And despite the warning Huening Kai chuckled.
"Yah!" Beomgyu raised his voice, reaching across Taehyun to hit the youngest.
"Sorry!" Huening Kai instantly apologized after getting smacked in the knee.
"My dad always forced me to ride around in his cop car, and when he couldn't drive me anywhere I had to walk or ride my bike." Beomgyu mumbled, crossing his arms over his chest. "I knew I shouldn't of brought it up."
"Hey, I've never been on a bus either!" Huening Kai defended, trying to make the older feel even a tad bit better. "I just wasn't expecting that answer."
"Yeah, yeah." Beomgyu grumbled, rolling his eyes.
"My thing is kind of stupid as well." Huening Kai continued to play around, shrugging his shoulders. "I've never pet a dog before, and that would literally make me so happy. I always watched people walk their dogs or play with them at parks, but I just couldn't get myself to approach."
Stupid or not, everyone was smiling at the youngests words. These were in reality very simple things they wanted to experience, things other people their ages would have all likely experienced by now. While it was depressing, talking about it like this made them each feel a bit better.
"What about you Yeonjun?" Soobin redirected the question at the oldest.
"I want to go to the ocean." Yeonjun answered immediately, sighing after his words. "It's something I've dreamed about for a long time." A smirk formed on his lips then as he paused to think. "It sounds like we have a bucket list to fulfill."
