Chapter 3

Jaylin's POV

I got in the back seat of the car. Colleen looked at me and smiled. "Do you want to sit up front with me?" Colleen asked as she got in the car and buckled her seat belt. She looked at me and I smiled and got in the passenger seat. I buckled and Colleen started the car. I looked out the window and smiled.

"So the first place we are going is my,well, our parents house." Colleen said."OK," I replied. We pulled into a driveway that was crowded with cars. "Wow, how many parents do you have?" I asked as we go out of the car. " One of these cars are my parents. I have a lot of siblings. WE have a lot of siblings." Colleen said. I held her hand as we walked up to the door.

Colleen opened the door and screamed, "WE'RE HOME". Colleen lead me into the house and I was instantly attacked by a TALL person."SHE'S EVEN CUTER IN PERSON," the tall lady said as she picked me up and hugged me. "Rachel, calm down. Let the girl breathe. She just got home." Colleen said. I laughed as Rachel continued to hug me. She looked at me and put me down on the floor.

Colleen took me around to meet everybody. "Jaylin, this is our mom, Gwen." " Hi, Gwen," I replied. "Oh, no sweety, call me mom." Gwen stated in a soft tone. I smiled and nodded my head. "Jaylin, this is our brother,Trent. He is hard of hearing so you might have to talk loud." Colleen said as we walked up to Trent. "That's good because I'm normally really loud." I replied. Trent and I spent about 5 minutes talking. I occasionally would see Colleen and Rachel talking and smiling out of the corner of my eye. 

 "Hi dad. Jaylin this is our father, Tim." Colleen said as we approached a tall man.  "I'm assuming you want me to call you dad?" I asked. "No. You can call me daddy or whatever you want." Tim stated in a joking tone. "Aye Aye Captain," I said as I saluted him. I heard Colleen chuckle. Colleen and OUR father were talking and all the sudden a man walked up to Colleen without her knowing. He gave me a happy smile as he scared Colleen. I didn't know who this was or why he was trying to scare Colleen. Colleen and the man kissed for a second. I tried not to look. "Oh my, um Jaylin this is my fiance Joshua." Colleen said. "Hey Jaylin. Can I call you Jay?" Joshua asked. I nodded and then Joshua hugged me. I walked with Colleen or Rachel until Gwen called us in for dinner.

Colleen dished my plate and gave it to me. I waited for Colleen to tell me where to sit. Rachel grabbed my hand and dragged me to the living room. I sat down on the floor between Rachel and Colleen. After we all were sitting in the living room, Tim stood up to speak but was stopped by Gwen. "We have a little announcement and Christopher will be here in just a minute. He was trying to get here on time but he got stuck in traffic." Gwen said. "But I thought I saw Christopher's car in the driveway?" Colleen asked. "He was here without Jessica, Parker, Jacob and Bailey. But he had to go back to get them." Rachel replied. Then everyone went back to eating.

Christopher. Bailey.Parker. Jacob. And Jessica. Who are those people? How many more family members do they have. I just continued to eat and ignored the fact that these people have an army of family members coming over. After we all were done eating, everyone sat in the living room and waited for Christopher and his cast to come over. I hung out with Rachel. I really got to know her better. Then Colleen came and sat down on the floor by us and we spent a while just talking.

About 30 minutes after we were all done eating, there was a knock on the door. Colleen went to answer it and there was a man, a woman, and 3 children at the door. THOSE CHILDREN ARE THE CUTEST THINGS I'VE EVER SEEN! Colleen introduced me to Christopher and Jessica while the children were playing with Tim, Gwen, and Rachel. Pretty soon, the little girl and little boy come up to me."Hi I'm Bailey and this is my brother Jacob." Bailey said. I smiled. "Do you want to play with us." I looked around the room. Everyone seemed to be busy. "Of course. I would love to play with you." I said. Bailey jumped up and down. Bailey, Jacob, and I spent 15 minutes playing different games while the others talked. Colleen called us all back into the living room.
