Chapter 4

Jaylin's POV

When Colleen, Rachel, and I got home, I ran inside and gave the onesie to Gwen. "Oh! What is this?" Gwen asked as Colleen and Rachel walked into Tim and Gwen's bedroom. "We all got matching onesies." Colleen said as she sat on the bed. "Well, we better go put these on." Gwen said as she got up from the bed. Gwen, Rachel, Colleen, and I all piled into the bathroom to put on the onesie. "Jaylin, do you mind if we take pictures?" Colleen asked. "No." I replied. "But Colleen, they don't know about Jay yet." Rachel said. "So doesn't mean we can't take pictures." Colleen said as she gabbed her phone. Who's they? MORE RELATIVES. Ugh.

We spent about 15 minutes taking pictures in the bathroom. Then Gwen and Colleen made cookies while Rachel and I ran around the backyard barefoot. We were going to spend more time outside but Rachel stepped on a twig and hurt her foot. When I walked into the kitchen, the whole table was covered with cookies and other desserts. But to be honest, the table wasn't that big. "Wow." I said in awe. "Yeah, Colleen how many cookies did you bake?" Rachel asked. "I didn't think I made that many to be honest." Colleen said with a little chuckle.

"I think we are done baking for the night. " Gwen said. "Are you going to bed?" Rachel asked. "No I'm just going to get your father so we can eat all these cookies." Gwen said. An hour later and not even half of the cookies were gone. Rachel, Gwen, Tim, and I probably had 5 cookies each. Colleen had like 10. Tim and Gwen went to bed so it was just Rachel, Colleen, and I. We had a really fun time. I was really tired but I didn't want to go to bed because I wanted this day to last forever. I didn't want to wake up and find Colleen and Rachel gone. We watched a movie on the couch because Colleen wanted to start settling down. I was cushioned between Rachel and Colleen. I had my head resting on Rachel's shoulder. I was starting to drift off to sleep when I woke myself up. Colleen saw that I was tired and told me to go to sleep. I felt safe with Colleen and Rachel so I let myself fall asleep.
